Don' top the 12/12 from seed. The reason is it will set the gow back a week and with no veg time 2 shoots won't be very big.

Topping is best done on a veg plant two or more weeks before you switch to 12/12. You can top more than once. (not 12/12 from seed.)

Yeah well GKN, your next experment should include 2 or 3 weeks of veg cycle lighting so you can top them. Like I said I have had it work just fine at 2 weeks. You started at 12/12 ya may as well not change a thing and just let them do what they do and try it the other way next time if ya wish

excellent point...i will def try that experiment next grow...i'll just start less plants, then veg em for 2 weeks...my babies are growing more and more each day, everything's looking great!

i know most of you were around for my diesel ryder grow, here are some pics of nugs that have had a 20 day cure, super dank and smooth! the last pic with the 2 smaller buds are some of a super funky half 8er i picked up, i think it's some sort of kush, really stoney, puts you down and covered in trichomes!! bongsmilie

and finally, haha, super baked right now, for the first time i made some of this iso hash or oil, whatever its called, it's fucking unreal potent, soooo nice and i just love it...if you haven't heard of it, check this link out on icmag, i followed his directions to a tee except i only used a couple grams of bud, some stems, leaves, trim, and leftover vaporizer poo...http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=66497
i highly recommend this, and only shake for 20 seconds to get pure bubbling goodness...the finished product is like dark brown candy, really hard, then when it's burnt it bubbles like gooey mud! everyone should try this and i think i'm gonna be hooked now, especially with trim after a harvest..i ended up with half gram! enjoy and have a great weekend..:bigjoint:

thanks dudes....on the diesel ryder i started with 20/4 and MH and then about 3 weeks in i switched to 18/6 and HPS...in another week, maybe 2, i'm gonna switch to the hps bulb...that's really promising rocket, i really hope they are oz little ladies!! and their actually a couple days older, cause the first couple days they were fluoro...so since germ their like 13 or 14 days...i really dont pay attention to the days, i go by looks and triches.... i think the MH for the first 3 to 4 weeks is beneficial, i've doing it that way for a while now with great success...and the 1 gal bags gotta be helping too...i'm pissed, i germed 4 hashberry seeds, and only 2 sprouted, their super healthy, but the other 2 haven't popped up yet...they might be dudes but i moved the fluoro closer so i'm gonna wait it out...peace

yeah really nice list, and attitude fucking rocks...that's where i get all my gear!! the fem purple lady, and fem white widow freebies i have goin are doin suprisingly well...dewey, you should forsure try the hash oil, for the first time just use some stems and a couple grams of bud...i have bout 7 white rhino's goin, all super strong, i'm sooo excited for these little babies to make me proud...appreciate it..peace

Right on brotha! I have enough belladonna trimmings and the setup to try it tonight! Attitude is where I get the gear too! There the shit! I might put in another order soon! Gots to get a good purple kush type and Jock Horror! Maybe I will run into him someday over here! He gave some of his bud to my doctor's assistant.

So much cheaper than bubble bags, and I don't really have enough trim for bubble anyway. This looks so much easier, anyway..

Your plants are lookin' great, BTW.
