This is great... I'll be watching this one. I was inspired by the 12/12 from seed thread on ICMAG, too. My current plants will come down next weekend, at which I'll start some Thai outdoors.. point is, by the time I come back indoors, I'll have a good look at how yours turned out.

How much extra perlite are you putting in your FFOF? Seen others say about 20% by volume.. I want to go FFOF next time round.. seen a lot of people complain about burn and the soil being too heavy. I think the way to handle the burn issue is by not overwatering, personally.

hey kriegs, i'm glad you're in too!! i'm pretty excited to see how this shit is gonna turn out, cause if the yields are around an oz per plant, i may never go back to regular growing! haha...i'm not sure the exact amount of perlite, i'm terrible with numbers, alot though, i dont' measure, i just start dumping and eye it, 20-30% sounds great though....i personally have never had a problem with burning plants in FFOF, i just love the stuff and you're right a about watering, alot of folks overwater cuase they over think shit..i let my soil get really dry in between waterings, then i pick up a bag and do the weight test, then water! it's very important that the soil drys out a bit cause it makes those roots search out for water, an in turn makes them grow big and strong, which as you know makes for an extremely healthy plant...happy growing freinds...

I cant wait to see how this turns out!! I'm in FL too (but not on the mainland) & just started my 1st grow in 20 years & 1st ever indoors. The Home Depot here is pretty lacking, so I got stuck with whatever they had. But my 2 girls (Supergirl Fems from Nirvana) broke the soil on Sunday & are showing their 2nd set of growth this morning!!

hey dudes, i was board just chillen at the casa and i took some pics, check it! 1st one is my temporary ghetto incubation chamber in my kitchen, haha, my girl really loved that one, i was like i bet you never thought you'd have dank growing in your kitchen! hahahaha
the rest are the growroom, all the ladies are doing really great! all the yellowing is gone and their perfectly green...the metal halide makes them look yellow, but rest assured their not...even the tards that had twisting leaves look alot better today...i also can't believe how great the freebies look for the tude! the fem northern lights and purple lady are just perfect and the power skunks are also doing wonderful...the temps are hovering around 75 with the light on and the humidity has been through the roof, which is awesome for this stage in the game...i went in there is morning and it was at 76%, fucking unreal!! that's florida for ya...if always drops a bit when the light turns on, but staying round 50-60%...i'm goin to the mtns this weekend, so their won't be an update for a while...that's all guys, take it easy...

kindnugs nice to see u got another journal going, i wish i had enuff balls to post 1, anyway why 12 and 12 from seed? interesting way to go about it, maybe from clone but seedling, i never followed a journal that did it so ill be interested to see, sry we couldnt hook that up be4 i still got some of those cinderellas though although no more bud lol im an avid smoker anyway good luck ill have my eye out

Another Florida boy takin a seat in the house, Cocoa Beach area here. I never heard of this 12/12 method, so how long does it take for the plant to flower ? U just skip the veggin stage and jump straight to flowerin? I'm intrested in this style of growin, I'll be watchin, got a few seeds on the way from attitude, might give this 12/12 method a try. But can't you veg(18/6) for like 2 weeks then swich to 12/12, and that would help you get more yield ??? Good luck man, keep us updated.
