My first 3 chamber closet grow with Blueberry

Thanks 9inchBB youve given me so much help & encouragement.

You know how growers cut off the lower 1/3 of the plant when lollipoping? Well I was wondering if it would help if I were to cut off the lower 1/4 of the plant so that all the bud production is concentrated on the higher branches were there is more light & lumens. Is this a good idea or am I over thinking it?

I see things are coming on well. Been reading through and just had one thing to tip you on. If your gonna go flood and drain don't put the plants into the system until you have multiple roots growing out of your RW cubes.

Other than that it's looking groovy, How is Mamma Blueberry?

Oh and as for the lollipopping why not lollipop 2 and leave two as they are? It would be good experience for you

This project has been alot of fun I have learnt so much from you & another fellow grower who goes by the name of "9inch big bud". The BB mother has grown BIG, its so high its touching the fluros & getting burnt Ill post pics in a little while...

Its not exactly in the best of conditions. Ive been trying to make it not grow in height so Ive been watering with plain water no nutes...Im not sure how that works but em eh. Last watered yesterday but the leaves are still drooping usually they pick up the next mourning. Im going to pluck out those old crinkled leaves tomorrow. Although I flushed the soil last week there are still yellow leaves to be found.
Im considering cutting off the leaves at the very top, its just getting burnt!

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY MOTHER PLANT. I watered a couple of days a go with only tap water with a PH of 6.5 (soil) today I found some of the leaves moist, wilting, crinkled (though still supple), dark green on the upper leaf & pale white on the under side. Also the branch thich but then becomes thin (see pic No. 6). What is this issue?

looks like lack of light its at the bottom of the plant and that is a big plant. i get the dead wilt leaf when a branch is in contact with the side of the grow tent for afew days.

The higher leaves are curling at the tips but they are nice & perky unlike the previous photos.

The girls in the flowering are looking delicious. Pics coming up...

it looks like she could use some trimming under there, also hows the air flow?, see how its happening to the larger fan leaves? clean them up down there and you and the plant will be happy

looks alright i would take a load of cuttings and grow them for new mothers may be she is a bit tired. how old is she?

I was wondering would I still need to move the bulb lower if the plants are growing taller closer towards the HPS?

Those clones are looking good.

I think mamma could probably use a good trim. When I keep a mother I top her at @ 3ft That way I don't have height issues and after a few weeks I get a lot of width to take cuttings from.

I would aim for 12inches between the cooltube and the top of your plants, this will stop them stretching so much. Then, as they get taller move the light up so it is always within 12" of your plants.

You can get the cooltube even closer without having heat issues, but i find that the light doesn't get spread wide enough.

Ha ha growing pubes! That gave me a little chuckle.

Im giving it Ionic Bloom @ 1000 PPM/PH @ 6.2/MS @ 1.5. Ive also given it Hygrozyme at the lowest dosage.

Ive lowered the HPS a little but Ill lowered it even more tomorrow if all is well.

Got up today bright & early took a look at the babes this is what I found...check out those juicy stems. They wernt joking when they said cannabis grows faster in hydro

Yesterday night I found I had a few pin hole light leaks (in the flowering area only) at the very top of my cab, Ive covered it with alot of foil tape so I think its sorted but Ill find out for sure tonight. However I did find some swelling above some at the base of the fan leaves is this an indication of hermaphrodites? Eeeeek! (see pic No. 2 & 5)

your all right i dont think you have hemies LOL. get your light lower its in a cool tube now it can take more light.

p.s do you have another reflector? i took the silver reflector out of my cool tubes and put some of my old reflectors over the top of the cool tubes look at pic 1. i found the reflector in the cool tube is not that good if you dont have another reflector to use then have a go making one your self it can not be any worse than the one in the cool tube.

I have a " Envirolite CFL Complete Light" maybe I can unscrew the frame work & place the reflector on top of the cooltube? Ill give it a try.
