because your info is false. yes a cooltubed hps is capable of being cooler but a fairly decent fan is needed that consumes watts. By the time you cool the 600 they might as well call it a 700.

they do see my scrog grow above? that got ruined i had 10 sensi super bud in that cab. i was doing a little side room to make some Low ryder crosses for outdoor and a bit of pollen got out of the room and fucked it right up 1000s of seeds you live and learn i suppose. the bonus is iv got 10s of 1000s of lowryder crosses just to toss around the county side

I think your a few posts behind. I basically agree with him and trust his numbers. I do have pics and many are hps. I aint the 1 dogging anyones grow. just an opinion. i use hps to and dont need to prove anything. And honestly i prob have more watts being used than most on here. BUT NOT ALL. I am agreeing to a point. But the title is large t5 grow. his setup oes look clean. I actually like it.

Use them as you please, but I don't care whether it's hps or T5; 400 watts is still 400 watts.

I'm sorry for all those of you who bought the wrong T5's that scorch your plants and skin; mine rest nearly on the bulbs with little or no burns. Lucky me, I guess.

Thanks. That was actually an experiment. People go "2 pounds with a 400w HPS isn't happening," but nobody seems to remember that TIME plays an important role. That particular grow took almost a full year but I still yielded over two pounds from just those two plants with a 400w HPS light.

I use mainly T5HO for vegging then switch those from 6500K to 3000K and add an HPS and turn on the UVB light for THC production.

Oh, and yes, UVB does work, this has been known and proven since the early '80s.

i'm lookin into it. yah when people talk about yield per grow there has to be a standard. i could grow prob 10 pounds under a 1000 if i veged for 6 months. lol it should be a 90 day grow to compare or agreed upon before a discussion. Going to check out that light for sure tomorrow.

pollen will not last long m8 dont worry by the time your next crop is growing and in bud the pollen will be no more than dust.

if you shoot your seed in to the room how long do you think it will live? not the same as a plants pollen i know, but you get the idea.

For pollen, this depends.

Use a bleach spray to kill pollen.

Also, make sure you filter all your air, the pollen can carry around on air currents for quite a long time, you might stil have some present in the air.

HEPA works if your room is airtight or the HEPA filter does your entire home/structure and is hooked into the air system of your home.

It works well actually. but yah it doesnt keep the air clean when outside air is coming in constantly. but it does the general area around the grow well and its used as my fan. it doubles as a filter. i have 2 inline fans now that are filled with central air carbon matts. they actually get rid of alot of smell to. I am telling everyone right now not to use ionizers!! never use them!! anything but them for growing. thanks man for the advice. it should be fine from what ive heard.
