First grow ever (medical patient)

haha ya i have my two rooms right at my finger tips at all times, plus i have to set up the flower room every night ya know. how did your last yeild end up?
 
im also doing an indoor/outdoor like you but no hps yet a friend said he has 1 to give me but has to find it. and the whole veg thing every grow i have did 12/12 the plants get bigger faster in my opinion they only get so big though. mad props on indoor/outdoor though
 
I already relocated it into the garage, temps were too low outside. As for stealth, hps creates too much heat to become stealth, unless it's vented good.
 
Here's the latest pics, 12/12 from seeds are giants. The tallest one grew 4 inches in three days, have experienced some nute burn so i'll flush next feeding. Enjoy!

Strangerdude...so you can't grow seeds to flower from 12/12 huh? I read your thread all the way through, all hundred and something posts including the twenty or so telling you it's not possible to do a 12/12 grow from seed. Wonder what the 'experts' have to say now? I was on this site for a couple of weeks just reading up because at fifty five I wanted to do my own little grow. I have eighteen plants under a four tube four foot t5 that are twelve days old and doing just fine. I'm also doing a 12/12 grow for my first grow. The only difference I see we have is temps. I live in central Florida so even now I have to battle the heat because I'm doing a small top of the closet grow. My golf partner is about two weeks ahead of me using the same lighting and his plants are awesome. About six to seven inches tall and bushy as all get out. Growing Caramelicious, it's supposed to be easy for beginners. Mostly Indica with some Sativa.

You could try a small heater fan that you can pick up at home depot relatively cheaply and run it at night.

No one said it was impossible, it is a proven way of growing. It is just better if you give the plant some time to veg.

A space heater would do some good. I use it for growing shrooms the bags colonize in the closet nearer to the space heater, and the monotubs sit outside the closet. In closet is 80 degrees +/- a few and the tubs stay in mid 70s for fruiting. My gilrfriend likes to keep the house real cold for some reason in the 60s.
 
Ok, so why do you ask for everyones opinion and than get pissed when they tell you THEIR opinion about the 12/12 light cycle? Than, you state that next time your going to use a 18/6 light schedule, that you live and learn. Look buddy, you asked for advice, and thats what you are getting. If you just want props and everyone to tell you that your doing a wonderful job, and your plants are awesome, than dont ask for advice. 18/6 or 24 hour veg is the way to go! No if, and or but about it. Sure 12/12 worked, but you wasted money for no reason.

hey man.. hows the tent holding up outside.... its been cold and rainy like a mofo up here.... did you every put that tarp on an angle to the water slides off??...

when it started getting colder outdoors... did you switch the 12/12 over to night time for heat? or just put a heater in there or something?

Whats up! Moved tent into garage, buds are really fat. Unfortunately my camera was stolen when my car was burglarized along with some new clothes and new carbon filter :(
I had another 12/12 from seed at my friends house(bud is for him, i was just guiding him) and got about 2oz a plant. But yeah both of them have a trainwreck type of odor.

Damn that sucks about the camera and the carbon filter... Im glad everything seems good for your and your plants otherwise man.... Happy growin
 
If your growing outside in Cali.. I suggest you switch over to a small greenhouse? maybe even the size your running.. 1 way glass.. you could get all the fixins running in there easily

Dude I don't even know what you just said, and I don't have a greenhouse, it's tent. I'm aware of what kind of environment and space to grow my plants in, thanks!:joint:
