So then it wasn't just me? I had some Master Kush that tasted so sweet when he stopped by, he showed me the purple bud and it looked really good, then I smoked a hitter and tried not to make vomit faces.
I thought it had a dirty taste to it. I thought mabye it hadn't been flushed properly or something.

85% or the "purple" weed i smoke tastes likie dirt and flowers. weather it's purple colored or just named purple. that's why i don't get it. why so many purple strains? it's all the same.

I was really liking that Master Kush that I've been getting, it tastes so good and smells so nice. I want to know who grew it and what they used, I want those same results at home.
Good to know about purple weeds not being very tasty, would you say the same for Purple Kush? I have had only the once experience with purple weed, so your opinion would be valued.

My Master Kush turned purple... I had not a clue!!! But out of both sativa & intica, the dam response was the same, they loved the flavor. All that work for different highs, and the f... flavor took the spotlight. Pissed me off. Molasses & seaweed, plus all organic. No flushing required. Dip a joint in MG, and get some fucked up shit.

thats nuts...im with on the rest of the purps tasting like shit...and grandaddy is the worst of them all...but the purple kush i got from bluesky in oakland is the tastiest purple ive had...but it also looks a bit different than the pic you posted...so who friggin knows these days with all the friggin names hype....

Yes, that's what surprised me. Out of all people... So, here's the question, FDD's shit didn't taste like dirt, flowers, ex-wives, so... was the Purp he was talking about grown, using the same method as His grow. That is the real question.

For the non-purple strains you have, only the leaves are gonna turn.
For The Purps, if you can't get the buds to change to purple, try adding some of Humboldt's Purple Maxx. This only enhances the purple color of purple strains, not turn non-purple strains purple.

Shoot low Sheriff, I'm riding a pony!! I just know I raised several Master Kush, & the leaves & bud turned purple. Don't want to dye eggs to give false readings, There is a ghost of a chance that I may learn something here. A "Pepper" plant may be very mild, or eat your face off. Is that maybe the deal here?

That is purely biology. DNA can only be replicated so many times until the cells can no longer read the original DNA (which is somewhere in the vicinity of 25 years for aids)
So far you've no idea what you are doing making your plants purple.. But I've only read a few pages in, I'll edit this if my opinion changes when i get to the end.
