flowering starts when the flowers begin to show not when you change the light schedualyou could just starve them of nutes and achive the same thing

The official flowering stage begins when the plants show their sex. If you just switched them, it'll probably be another two weeks. So, if you're waiting for the 'flowering' stage to begin to manipulate your plants, then you have a while and are ultimately making a silly decision by dropping their temps at this point in time.

ok what about sexed clones and femalized strains.. Man that makes sense.. maybe if you only grow from seed.. you can all grow the same way that everyone else does ,and never learn anything for yourself because your brainwash by everything you've been told ,,just like the world was flat...you are nothing till you do it yourself... am I right?? If I lose a crop because I f*cked up.. well that means I lost a crop.. but if they are they are still triving then that means you just have limited expirence on the subjects your speaking of

lol.. just think about it? in the 70's they said there is no cure for aids... and how long has magic johnson had aids? we were taught that you could only live for 10 to 15 years if you had aids... now there is a cure... that goes against science...

Even a sexed clone needs a few weeks in flower to start doing it's thing. I think by dropping the temps while they're trying to make the change from veg to flower, you are just stressing them out, and possibly slowing them down.
Also, why do you care what color the fans leaves are anyway? You cut those off and discard them at harvest. Once you've trimmed, your buds are going to look like everyone elses buds........green.
My son had some purple weed, it had a really dirty taste to it, damn I hope my purple Kush doesn't taste like that ............ blah.....

nahh...purple kush is a tasty strain....ive got 4 of em finishing in another 3 weeks...i just picked up 2 more cuttings to mother out...very tasty and very sedative...its great before bed...
