I'm not sure where you are, but down here in the oddly shaped SE state we have no firearms registration (just NICS and a 3 day wait unless you have CCW)

CCW is around $200 after all the fees and the regs aren't awful but not great. I just wish we had open carry, not that I would. I would just prefer to not be paranoid about my shirt riding up every time I get out of the car.
