this is for anyone who wants a good microscope to see your tricombs....i just thought everyone should also read the reviews at the bottom of the link for the scope...i thought it was crazy funny so i thought id share with anyone who has not seen this when buying the scope...read on the web page where it says reviews and theres testimonials...http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?currentTab=summary&productId=2179604&tab=custRatings#showReviews

I use the same one, theyre alright. They do the job atleast. But I find you either have to be extremely steady holding it and the plant close enough, or you have to pick a leaf off and check it. Some of those reviews are hilarious. "Great to make sure your bud is done" lol

people have been using those things for eons. the trick to using them is to not hold them while using them. put the leaf on a table or something with a suitable background color. set the scope on top of the leaf, then you make the adjustments with the lens.

those harbor freight loupes are for old people to read the news paper with ... lol

a 30x loupe would be ideal ... the radio shack one is good ... but a pain to use if your looking at buds while their still on ur plant

i have a standard 10x, and its better than the naked eye ... but just not detailed enough ... i needa 30x

well for wot its worth,i think just use yer fekin EYES !! surely you can tell when the fruit is ripe and a ready ! ,even you said "just look at it" fdd. just keep things simple,you dont need half the fancy shite people get exited about.

LOL, there's no way to accurately tell when to harvest w/o checking trichomes.

That's ok if you are not older like me. And many years of straining eyes to look at the trichombs takes its toll. The wife say's I need glasses. I use one like this to look on the plant. Works good when trying to look around for preflowers.

when theres enough brown pistals,it smells ripe,and i just cant wait any fookin longer !!,but seriously i allways seem to get it right.ime about to harvest my latest crop of aurora indica,silver haze,w/w,and a couple of mixed sats.ile post pics,sats will be a week or 2,but ai is due in days. much luv.
