For some though, they can never fully trust. Who can blame them? This world is full of people that are willing to con people, ruin them even just so they can get ahead.

Personally, I work a lot with trust. If you act shady around me, i will disappear. I can't work with people that haven't got their shit together.

he doesn't have his shit together. i made 2 months worth of wages in the last 6 months because he has no work. i would come in every morning and sit in a chair with my gloves and welding helmet on waiting. after 2 hours i would sweep the whole shop then go home. he kept talking about all this work we had. then he would put off what jobs he did have until the last minute. then bitch to me about sitting around and leaving early. he says it is a bosses job to make his employees feel like shit. he said that's how all his bosses treated him. poor guy. :cry:

it comes to a point where you start to give up your own dignity. i can't be paid enough to do that. at the end of the day that's all we really have.

He's a wanker. It sounds like you had too much patience with him. If you turn up and spend time there he needs to pay you for that time. Cash those cheques, if they bounce don't do anything that can get you arrested.

It is a shame that he thinks that is the way to treat employees.

I know from working with subordinates that you can not be their best friend but, you can not treat them like crap either.

I think it takes a special kind of person to make that balance work right.

he wore these sweat shorts. like sweat pants with no pockets but shorts. he has a little tiny pee pee that sticks straight out, i assume he's free balling it. then an old grey t-shirt. he's at the job site of one of the top wineries in napa valley. he's welding and all sweaty. he stops welding, rolls the front of his shirt up into his hands. exposing his HUGE pasty white beer belly. then proceeds to wipe all the sweat off his face and neck. the project manager of this job is a six foot tall blond women. very pretty very friendly. the kind of customer you would like to impress. so here he is all sweaty and slobby stomping his foot telling me how to fuck-up my work. it was embarrassing. everyone saw it. i laughed at him.
