clones are the same age/sexual maturity as their moms...

So if you take a clone from a female showing pre-flowers, as soon as the clone is rooted you can flower both...

But I would keep the mom under 24 hour light and flower only the clones...

then... when thee clones are finished, you can take mre more clones from that same mom...

some people keep moms alive for years, but you can always grow one of the clones to replace the aging mom...

but you can flower your mom too...:bigjoint:

Yes,

Your clones CAN be ready in 3 weeks. It depends on the strain, but it will take about 3 weeks for it to be rooted, then potted.

Your clones can be flowered Any Time during veg stage. They just need to be fully Rooted.

i understand it.
i will keep only a mom always 24 hours light in a seperate microbox.(50cm x 50cm x 70 cm is enough for this,IMO )
and i will take clones from the mom after i harvest the plants in homebox.

but i would put 6400k cfls for the mom.would CFL decrease the product(clones) quality?
should i use MH for mom that would be always 24 hours light ?

MH is HID (high intensity discharge) so it will be better then CFLs any day.

Do Not keep your mother under 24 hour light. Keep the mother under 18/6 light cycle, it will save on power, and you will have better growth rates giving the plant a chance to sleep and shut down photosynthesis at night.

Some people claim 24 hour light is better, IF you bring temps and humidity down to mimic outside night conditions. But you dont really have this option, you will get better results with 18/6 for veg.

24 hour light can be used for Clones, but is Not necessary. 18/6 is fine for clones.

thanks.but i am confused in this point.

yes i know mh is better for a normal vegging plant.however a normal vegging plant would go flowering after vegging

But my mom would not be ''normal plant''.
i will only use mom for getting clones from her.so this mom would be my clones factory.she will never go flowering.

although these factors;
if i were 250 watt MH for vegging mom ,i would get a better quality clones ?
because that mom will never go flowering .that is why, would putting mh or CFL in room of mom affect clones quality ?

This is what I do, except I just use a 250w HPS for my mothers/clones.

A 250w MH will be much better then CFLs because it will grow your plants Faster. You will be able to take more, bigger, stronger Clones off of the Mother plant in a shorter period of time.

It depends how much time you have. If you want big clones in a couple weeks, use the MH, even a 150W would be Great and better then CFLs.

CFLs will take longer for the plant to grow shoots that can be used for cuttings. Bigger, stronger cuttings root faster, and grow faster.

okey,
i will use a homebox L or XL for my plants.also i will make a microbox for always vegging mom(s)..
a period from vegging to harvest about 3 months..
it means i will have to get 15 clones from the mom every 2,5 - 3 months .(i will be able to keep one or max 2 moms always under vegging 18/6 hours )
simply,should i use 250 watt mh or CFLs ?

sorry for my annoying questions.
(there is no growing equipment in my country and so i will buy everything from other countries.that is why,i have to make an excellent plan and i should buy right things that i need.it is very expens,ve for me.i shouldnt make any mistake ))

thank you all.

Yep, I agree. Go with either a T5 fixture, Or if your lazy like me order a single 150w or 250w MH or HPS to veg.

How can it be more work to order a T-5 over an HID?
I wasn't saying it was more work to order it....

......I said Im lazy.. So I use a single bulb with a reflector instead of having to move a big T-5 fixture. Also less bulbs to have to replace when that time comes around.

For a single mother, I would use a 150w/250w MH or HPS because IMO its easier. You dont have to keep your HID light close to the plants, so you dont have to adjust the light as much. Less hassle and around the same wattage.

thanks dudes.i understand it.
apart from this topic, should i put a bottle of water or a plate that filled up with water in my homebox and microbox for humidity?i saw it today in another forum ..

Humidity is very important ...

You have to know what it is...

You need a hygrometer.... (measures humidity)...

Really...

If you guess you might end up with mold (fungus) in your buds....
