this is why celsius is better

or smart people just remember water freezes at 32 degrees fahrenheit
 
lol I've had to adjust to all this farenheit stuff, guess its just being from UK.

80F sounded like a bloody furnace :fire:

Although here in UK when its cold they say, god its freezing, its down to -3C today, then when its hot they say, god its boiling, its 110F today cos it sounds so much hotter than like 20 odd celsius

Yeah Celsius is so much better, and kilobit it was -22 for me last week and my brother whos out west was getting -44 celsius. Crazy cold winter so far eh

I think there are still 4 countries where people seem to have 12 fingers (when I was little the people from the netherlands, next door, had a girl with 12 toes and fingers... freak shit).

You gotta love decimal, as long as yuo have 10 fingers a stick and some time, yuo can work out nearly anything.
 
I was jsut thinking how tough people are... I mean we had 41C days here last week and he has -45C days, that a spread of nearly 100C, (enough to boil water)
 
metric is the shit. im in school in the US for engineering and I cant stand imperial units. what shit is a slug? and all the conversions seem like arbitrary numbers.

metric is beautiful. everything is in powers of 10. simple. easy.
