Trump, the GOP, along with Elon Musk and DOGE are brazenly corrupt. The felon has been this way his entire life. Then when he was re-elected, after being impeached twice in his first term and allowed to slither through by the spineless GOP led by Mitch McConnell, was allowed to skate on ALL the indictments with pending cases, and even on the 34 felony counts of fraud adjudicated against him, convicted by a jury of his peers. Where does the confusion lie? Like Ozumoz66 said, it was documented he lied over 30000 times during his first term. The statement that," Lol at both parties are the same bird", is sadly another lie you seem to cling to. There are credible news sources that still exist, which is one reason, besides the judiciary, democracy somewhat still exists in the USA. But, it won't hold if the felon has his way. Here's just another story of so many which exemplifies what is happening with this administration, which is better described as a "regime".

Politics tend to become impassioned. If I posted half the stuff I think about I'm pretty sure some people in dark suits would want to talk let alone being banned from social media.
Making cannabis schedule 3 will ruin it for all of us. Do you know anyone who produces a schedule 3 drug at home? Nope there aren't any. Sched 3 will hand cannabis to the big pharmaceutical companies.

Like laddyd said in his post, "politics can become impassioned", and we can all agree no more than at a time like this. It takes more character to apologize, than to just continue in an angry, self-righteous tone. So, kudos to you for that. I like topcat, and he is definitely impassioned about what he sees happening to your country, but like I said, that's playing into this authoritarians plans, by bickering amongst each other, and not focusing on ALL the shit the Trump regime is pulling.
Yes, some are willing participants to the racism and hatred that Trump endorses, whether directly, or indirectly. I dont see you like that. But, yeah, some figured he was telling the truth about helping the country, and ALL the people, but his main goal seems to be to help rich, white men, mainly himself and his family and that's it. Sad.
Biden did alot of good for your country, but hardly anything he did that was good, would materialize immediately. It takes time once the law is passed, like "the Chips Act", and the infrastructure bill, and money appropriated, to get shovels in the ground and get things built. Donny took full advantage of thar fact to fool people into believing Biden didn't accomplish anything. Now, if Trump can't destroy any progress Biden made, he'll lie and take credit for it. This happens often with dishonest Republicans, but it's on steroids with Trump. IMHO, Biden should have got out sooner, and allowed the democratic party to choose a new leader. Nothing against Kamala, but Americans would have been far more comfortable with that option than what actually happened.
Yes, exactly. Trump and the GOP want to pass a huge tax cut for the wealthiest people and corporations. They don't seem to give two shits where they take the money from. They are gutting agencies to fund this. Everyone suffers, especially the poorest, most vulnerable. I just heard a report on CNN this morning that FEMA isn't "ready" for the upcoming hurricane season. Scary times in America, where the next natural disaster is almost certainly just around the corner.
