12 days from seed blue gelato is this slow?

Bro my dumbass got lazy and started using tap water totally forget the amount of ppm that already has by mistake big time
Stop hyper focusing on trying to “ supplement “ an already nute charged soil mix. FFOF is nute dense , maybe a bit too much sometimes.

However, using FFOF and basic TAP WATER ….. will work.
That’s it.
No measuring Calmag or adding Antelope shit . It is a READY TO USE SOIL (RTU) , that’s ONLY REQUIRES WATER.

Crazy huh ?

What if you planted a houseplant in the same mix …. Do you add Calmag or other crap to it ? … no.

So …. Your plant size issue is not your medium.
It’s your lighting .

Well I just switched light like 3 weeks ago and she’s definitely blown up

Give it as much light as possible. Autos have an internal clock from start to finish.

Disregard the breeder estimates on this strain ( yield , harvest time , etc. )

Plant is running the show it doesn’t care about weeks or days growing - hence giving the best environment ( lighting , airflow , controlled watering ) .

Let it go as long as necessary to fully be harvest ready even if you past the “ listed “ harvest window.

Bro my tap was reading 140/280 ppm plus the fox farm advanced nutrients I locked her up stunned
you are partially correct .... adding complicated feeding regiments / excess nute concentrations (bottles), "special water" and other things can and does cause issues with growth , vigor etc.

Autos can run on bagged soil alone..... Literally.

Autos just need an average of 100 days ( + or - ) in a grow . ( strain specific )
Especially in a simple soil container grow. Piece of advice.... dump the bottles . They are highly concentrated and easy to goof up and overfeed, burn, or LOCKOUT a plant.

FFOF NEEDS VERY LITTLE TO MAKE IT A "BETTER THAN BAGGED" READY TO USE SOIL.

1. ADD COARSE PERLITE OR PUMICE
2. ADD APPROX 10-15% EWC (Earthworm Castings) mixed in
3. ADD MYCO (xtreme gardening, dynomyco, etc. )

AUTO FEEDING :

You can either topdress MORE FFOF into your container at specific intervals - to "recharge that mix in your container as plant has been depleting since growing in it. PLUS .... plant is feeding on same type of nutes WITHOUT throwing a crapload of bottles at it, something that can unbalance
it and the microbial world below that thrived up to this point all from it being the HOST soil.

Topdressing with fresh FFOF , also maintains the ph buffering ( for even hard water TAP ). As it is already in the fresh soil ( oyster shell ).
I use TAP WATER only on all of grows - even hydro hempy buckets. If you water the lawn , wash yo arse , boil noodles , its good enough.
Damn near pee on it .... different subject but works.

Plant will consume what it wants .... when it wants.
ALL FROM THE HOST CONTAINER SOIL.

NO GUESSING MIX RATIOS OR ADDING CARTOON BOTTLES

it's literally potting soil FOR ANY PLANT - houseplant, garden use, flowers and even cannabis . Those other plants dont need unicorn piss in a bottle , now does it ?

DRY FERTILIZER :

Good "general purpose " 4-4-4 or 5-5-5 vegetable garden dry fertilizer. One for veg stage , one for bloom stage / flower.
A simple tablespoon or so into say a 3 gallon size container ( lets say ) - scratched in topsoil and water in.
Most applications like this can push up to 2 weeks before needing another feed.

Dr. Earth, Recipe 420 general purpose, Happy Frog fruit and flower brands for example.

Keep things simple my friend. bongsmilie

Think of autoflowers as a frozen pizza - pop it, cook it, eat it.
They are unpredictable.
Both in yield and time to finish.
