Went outside last night, saw our shadow. Good to know that despite this timeline Newtonian physics still work on a cosmic scale, yay us.

Spring break time, child is going to visit Grandmom because, "I mean like, she's totes old, she's only got so many spring breaks left!" to quote my kid. When I was 14 mom took me to see the '90/'91 tour of the 1968 play Hair. Had NO affect on me at all.

So for my kid's 14 year, they're going to a protest. My wife and my reply, "Uh, ok have fun? Don't get arrested."

With the women gone this weekend I'm dropping the bass and slinging mud at the walls.

Weather sux, windy and rainy. Cleaning up before my pianist buddy arrives. Gonna drink whiskey, smoke weed, play chamber music, and have great conversation. It is the way to spend a Saturday night. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I picked up a sanding pad that attached to my shop vac that uses sanding screens. It makes quick work with a hell of a lot less cleanup.

Wet sanding fills the voids and ends up smoother, don't have to do as much skim coating.

Pretty much got all of that. I've got a power sander connected to a cyclonic dust separator, connected to my shop vac. Affectionately called the Super Sucker. The last measure is everything is covered in 5 layer deep 3mil plastic on top of a thick 6mil sheet, in the room I'm sanding and as soon as I was done sanding I spray the room with water mist from a backpack sprayer to knock the dust to the ground before I turned the AC back on. Peel up a layer of plastic and throw it away before it gets air born.

Still came out of the room looking like cocaine bear on a bad day.
