Discussion: RDWC Nutrient Use

Okay so you see the title . My rdwc build is complete and now let's talk Nutrient. So this is what I'm planning to run, and listen if it's to much or something may conflict please let me know.
  1. GH Trio
  2. Rhino skin (advanced Nutrients)
  3. Urb Natural
  4. Canna Cannazym
  5. Elements Nutrients (Flower Fuel)
  6. Canna Rhizotonic
  7. Hygrozyme
  8. Microbe Life Hydroponics Premium Photosynthesis Plus
  9. Liquid seaweed (Blue Planet)
  10. Cla-Mag
  11. Maybe FoxFarm Flower Trio

Sorry to say there's a lot of things listed that I have no idea about. I have a feeling that with so many different things there is bound to be some amount of foaming.

Yeah I would say that is too much. The more complicated you make the nutrient regimen the more likely issues will come up. I would recommend choosing a base nutrient line and no additives to start, then add minimum additives to address specific needs. I do not think any seasoned grower would recommend such a list at the beginning.

[*] Rhino skin (advanced Nutrients)

- Very watered down potassium silicate product

[*] Urb Natural

-No organics in DWC starting out.

[*] Canna Cannazym

- Do practically more harm than good in most situations in DWC

[*] Elements Nutrients (Flower Fuel)

- Excessive, you should add enough P with phosporic acid keeping a hydroponic reservoir in pH range.

[*] Canna Rhizotonic

- Kelp and humic acid extract, works but not in any way needed. NO organics starting out!

[*]Hygrozyme

- Also know as "I grow slime" amongs hydro growers. Terrible product for DWC.

[*] Microbe Life Hydroponics Premium

-Very little action in DWC and do more harm than good starting out.

[*] Photosynthesis Plus

- Very little action, especially ecto myko do practically nothing in water cultures.

[*] Liquid seaweed (Blue Planet)

- Good product but should not be used starting out. NO organics starting out!

[*] Cal-Mag

- Only really needed with RO water and you should choose a low nitrogen version.

[*] Maybe FoxFarm Flower Trio

- Why add an inferior product to GH Trio? Not in any way needed and excessive.

Sterility is key starting out in DWC and I recommend new growers choosing the oxidizer route starting out. I have the bleach(sodium hypochlorite) chlorine calculator with recommendations in my signature.

Thanks a whole bunch I appreciate you for all of that and taking your time to write all of that out thanks. If I cashed app you could you send me a custom feed schedule with the oxidizer phosphoric acid

Damn that is alot of gear your using.. I have a RDWC setup and im only using GH Trio and Hard water.. Nothing else.. I like to keep it as simple as posible..

So after reading everyone’s suggestion I went and did some digging and homework and needless to say I’ve been overthinking this whole thing. So for right now I’m sticking with just GH trio I have a chiller so keeping the water cool isn’t a problem so root rot shouldn’t accumulate. The only thing I will keep is the cannazym & Canna Rhizotonic and use kabloom dry.
