Hey yall! Glad the site is back up!
So heres my problem…
I grew a few plants and harvested about 6-7 months ago. But before i could trim and bag most of them i had to leave town suddenly so the whole plants, stalk and all, just got thrown in some big garbage bags and put aside in a room. No humidity or moisture control whatsoever. Im back now and still want to trim them as ive trimmed a few of the buds and theyre actually not terrible like i thought they would be. At the very least id like to maybe make some edibles with them. I refuse to waste this beautiful plant! Lmao! But while im trying to trim them, theyre EXTREMELY brittle and almost just fall apart while handling them.
so i was thinking, maybe hanging them in a tent and running a humidifier to moisten them back up? Obviously not directly on them but just hanging them in a tent with really high humidity?
Or possibly cutting all the buds off the main stalks and jarring or bagging them with some of those boveda humidity packs?
Anyone ever done anything like this before or have any suggestions on how to rehydrate these beauts to make it a little easier to trim them?
Thanks in advance! -C3
