Exactly! That's what I keep telling everyone! Sucks now, but we'll be thankful come Spring & Summer.

We didn't get a winter last year and it showed by way of garden pests and bugs.

Yea, I killed 2 invasive lantern bugs 2 years ago, thought maybe more lived thru last winter.
Didn't see any this year, but this cold wave should push them back a hundred miles.

My dog was ridiculous in the snow yesterday, stepped in slush puddle and grossed out.
Acted like it was a broken leg in pain, not ice between your toes.
Had to get it all off and wrap her in a blankie before everything was ok...

When cat is cold, cat follows me to the bathroom, climbs in pants, and doesn't get out when I jokingly stand up take a few steps and say "well fine, stay in there." I changed pants...

yeah i caught a couple of clips of people sking, and sleding in Houston.....i'm way west of them, we didn't get that much here, got about 3/4 of an inch....it was a nice good dusting i would say

My tents were out of sync because 2 of the seedlings were a little runty. Finally flipped everything. Does anyone else always get one plant that is huge compared to the others? Every grow I have a built like a brick rick in one corner...

-16° when I got up, not too bad, but borderline my likeable limit.

Hopefully everyone else can stay warm. Stay inside if you can because frostbite sucks. If you have to go out try a very light coat of Vaseline on your exposed skin (face) I use dermatone but it's not really available and the closest thing is Vaseline. It keeps the moisture from evaporating at the pore.
