Oh I love my wifey she just informed me that I had better eat some of them peanut butter cookies before she finishes them off I had to tell her I already ate five of them lol
Moi aussi! Full disclosure of guilt here.
While she was downstairs doing her workout/yoga/meditation there was a disappearing act of the remainder of the pecan carrot cake. It's gone! Things you do for love eh!

Does any one else experience existential dread when they have to change pin numbers and activate new cards and update information on every stinking account tied to said cards? Maybe I can drop out and go live in a tree or something.
We've been able/allowed to keep our original pins since starting to use any cards that require them. I too would want to live in a tree if subjected to changing my pin or I'd just change it back to the original.

So I'm on the phone. "enter last four digits of your social, enter your date of birth, enter the security code on card, enter expiration date on card, enter new password, enter again system processing, I'm sorry Dave I'm afraid I can't do that call your financial representative." I do I finally am talking to a human. I'm sorry I can't help you with that you need to do the online thing again. I did it told me to call you and here we are. Can you tell me if the password change went through? Can't give that over the phone. How about if I tell you the number and you say yes or no? Can't do that over the phone. Well thanks for nothing good bye.

Wow. Perhaps a visit to the branch may help. The financial institution I was with in the 90s found me with a pair of scissors and cutting up my card infront of them, then asking for my balance and closure of account. They wouldn't increase my credit card limit above 500, yet only a few years prior (while in college) they'd have given me tons of credit knowing full well I was jobless.
