Will airy buds get denser if left flowering?

Hi everyone.

I am pretty sure that judging by the trichome photos she is ready to be chopped but there are a lot of airy buds and I'm wondering if I just let her go a little longer would that even matter?

I don't mind bud that makes me more sleepy so more amber isn't a huge deal of I go a week or so longer but if those buds aren't going to get much better than I would rather chop now...

Really dense buds is overrated, imo. Its just an aesthetic. Bag appeal is only important if you're hustling. Some of the best stuff ive ever smoked was super leafy fluffy outdoor, lemon skunk.
For personal use, I could care less about how it looks. These days I dont even trim sugar leaves. LOL

Definitely wait another week before harvesting. :bigjoint:

more days wont make denser buds at this point. thats mostly genetics. high temps can cause airy buds but yours look nice and healthy and well taken care of. I wouldnt sweat it. How she smokes is the real test.
Picking 10-14 days early will 100% guaranty lose airy buds

I was going to decide to let her go another week or so but now I'm noticing the top of the buds have some sugar leaves where the browning from burn or whatever is close to spreading inside the bud. I have been cutting the brown tips but there's too many and they are on the small sugar leaves so it's hard to snip them without causing damage.

Rather than risk it spreading and causing rot in going to chop her in Xmas. Would do it sooner but can't.

Do you guys agree that because of the brown leaf tips it is smart choice to chop?
