How many watts wiukd it take to grow a pound in 2 2.5x2.5 tents?
Light is only part of it so let's say a 400 watt or 600 watt hps that's enough light but the rest comes down to the right genetics then your environment and your skillsHow many watts wiukd it take to grow a pound in 2 2.5x2.5 tents?
Some folk manage even more with hps than a g a watt but yeah I agree there's alot in play besides just the light usedLike mentioned above there is a lot more at play then just wattage draw from the wall. Not all watts are equal. 1g/w is just about the best you can do with hps. Im doing 1g/w under LEDs but i know im nowhere close to perfect and more skilled growers in more controlled enviourments are getting 2-3g/w its realistic one could grow a LB in a 2x2 under a quality 200w LED. I would say you probably want a 200-250 fixture in each of your 2.5x2.5 tents, it will be easier to hit those numbers with more smaller plants then less larger plants so maybe 3 in each
I have about 8 clip fans that are a 2 setting max 80 cfm I think (4 for each tent) alr cleaned everything and the new tent gonna clean it again when I germinate the seedsI have a 2.5x5 but importantly its 6.5’ tall. 150w led on each side 300w total 14oz a couple times in there. I wouldnt focus on how many watt lights but how many fans? Youll get zero if you get powdery mildew thats where Im at right now.
I am using box fans as canopy fans hoping it will work but if it dont, I still need to grow a certain way. After a nuking meaning deep cleaning Id need to grow with caution in mind to prevent.
Might just buy a 300 and just upgrade tents later on down get the light outta the way can't rlly find 200sI'd be looking for 200w per 2.5x2.5
Well trained plants, a good strain and a great run.
Seen 1.3 done before first hand. Some folk manage even more with hps than a g a watt but yeah I agree there's alot in play besides just the light used
DittoImo you're better forgetting about weights and concentrate on growing healthy plants, even with the best everything you need some experience to help you avoid the myriad of pitfalls growing has to offer.
2.5x2.5 works out quarter pound per 14" square ±, that's not an easy task for any grower.
