That all purpose fertilizer seems a lil high in N for mid to late flower, no?Been a little bit since I posted last - but those 3 seeds I replaced ( above ) also took a shit.
So I just kept these 3 Forbidden Zkittlez going …. However I streamlined the grow.
Basically all Recipe 420 mix ( alone ) - no fillers , no amendments… just right out of bag.
Feeding is even simpler- 1 tablespoon of Recipe 420 General Purpose ( every week and an half ) .
Tap water .
I wanted to show if you do shit simple , less things go sideways. Also, highlighting why I like this soil blend over ocean forest.
I will still do some more “ mixed medium “ experiments but this is the easiest for anyone looking to garden up some weed without buying dozens of things just to get some smoke.

I'm really surprised your getting that from just dry amendments. Are you adding them on a weekly basis?

Ok Transplant Time -
I have my way of “ up potting “ and germ starts. Everyone has their own way but , here’s mine.
First, I germ seeds ( all seeds ) in solo cups. Either filled with fresh soil ( such as Recipe 420 ) or I use recycled soil from a grow.
That soil is still mildly charged and will work beautifully. No need to buy “ starter mixes “ or other complicated things.
Your spent soil is ready to go into new germination - and at times I add a pinch of myco into that mix that goes into your solo cups.
For Hydro - I make micro hempy solo cups ( small hole up an inch from base ) - fill with coco or full perlite. That micro reservoir will work by getting that cup into a full transplantable plug. Even in full perlite - it makes a rooted plug - ready for a full size hempy bucket or full size coco container.

I start plants in solo cups until a few nodes or large fan leaf spread. They stay in cup UNTIL I say so.
I move “ soil “ cups into a 1 gallon container and let it root out to make root mass as dense as possible.
PLUS - I can begin to shape the plants too - Top / Bonzai / Manifold / or whatever you like.
I prune them and even LST if needed.
I first add a bottom layer ( 1/3 ) of volume of your container. This mix is pretty aerated and I don’t add perlite when running this brand.
Then the MYCO goes in.
Add Dry fertilizer - I use Recipe 420 6-8-4 General - it is ridiculously simple. Literally a tablespoon and half every week and half - scratched into topsoil - then watered.
No overfeeding drama - No expensive bubblegum cartoon nutes.
MIX WELL.
Work it thru out that bottom 1/3 mix.
It’s the boosted area of nutes for the plant. That area will breakdown over time and add to the host feeding.
No overfeeding drama with too much N or some imbalance.
Although , I am running them in 3 gallon size for final - there is no particular size limit.
