Some outfit in British Columbia, Island Life Seeds. Saw on their IG last month that they're going out of biz, so better hurry if you want any! I made a bunch of seeds here last year and again this year if you fall short DM me.
Thnx for the link. They have a cross of two strains that may finish earlier here and have decent resistance to mold. - Shiskaberry x Timewarp. Looks like the business has changed hands and will remain open afterall.

Interesting...I have a greenie PTK from the seeds I made last year, will have to compare effects.

So the color is triggered not by temp. but by length of nights? (or in your case lights off time). Or just age of the plant and stage of growth? Would love to know the mechanism behind it.

Have to admit I'm surprised how late these last flowers are still going...after all, this is pretty close to a pure indica mountain-type strain from what I've learned. The green pheno seemed to finish a bit earlier.

Great plants, the one female I grew last year was some of the best flower I've ever had. Definitely a keeper.
I think the color expression is genetic in this case. I know I am further south, but my PTKs always seem to finish fairly early outdoors. I didn't time the seed run plant I did indoors about 4 years ago. Also, I had plants that were dark colored early in flowering.

Warmed up here into the forties and drizzling. I went ahead and chopped that last PTK stem at dawn...think those flowers are starting to overripen at this point. Will see if those have a more narcotic effect with the greater CBN.

It's a wrap for 2024. Great year overall. Thanks everyone for sharing images, experiences, advice.

Was that from Oregon Green Seeds?
Yes.
I grew two, the one in the picture smells amazing and is absolutely coated in resin. It's hard to trim because I have to constantly clean the scissors. She smells great too, like lemon, pepper and a little funk in the background. Haven't tried any not dry yet, but it looks and smells wonderful. The other one has huge buds, soo heavy many of the colas are now growing straight down. But the smell and frost coverage on that one is pretty ho-hum.

They are both hard to support, no breakage just long tall flexible stems. I don't use nets or trellises or anything I'm used to growing Indicas that need very little support, supporting these plants is like wrangling snakes.
I pollinated a branch on the frosty one.

Thank you! I wish she still had that Maxwell's Silver Hammer available.
I F2d some seeds and that is what I grew. 1 plant was pretty frosty and finished in mid September and the other plant didn't put on many trichomes at all, so I trashed it. It is the best sativa dom plant I have grown. I crossed it with ATF/Sodo from Dutch Blooms but only got about 30 seeds so far. I think Oregon Green Seeds is getting out of the game, unfortunately.

Wow, that is early. Yeah I agree it seems like she's just selling off stock that was made years ago and not restocking anything. Sad because from what I've seen from OGS she was doing the kind of stuff that I'm looking for.
