Sorry for the not so good picture but it's a little gray outside. This is my garden for 2024. The "girls" are helping me get it ready. It's about 12 x 38 feet. I'm only going to grow four outdoor plants this year.

Chickens are great. They eat the bugs, munch on any weeds that come up, and apply high nitrogen fertilizer.

Are you pollinating Pine Tar females or do you have other varieties in the room there? You going to let one female grow sensemilla buds or is this strictly a seed operation at this point? I'll be curious to hear what you think about the finished flowers--I was very impressed with those genetics.

Nice scene by the river there. You that close? The Saco flood much after any of those deluges?

I'm still contemplating this year's selections. Going to do PIne Tar Kush and Northern Lights again (will try and get you more NL seeds), but thinking of exploring a third new variety. I crossed PTK and NL last summer so might try a few of those seeds and see what emerges.

Iam going to hit the lowers with pollen on all the PTKs The tops will be seedless I got 3 other strains in there also. I live right on the river been here 24 yrs the flooding this past 6 months is the worst I have seen. I will send you some PTK seed soon as they are done I plan on running a bunch this summer outdoor.

Appreciate the offer but plenty of PTK seed on hand here from last summer. Go ahead and keep those or pass it along to someone else.

Would love a smoke report on the PTK when you get there.

Didn't you swear you were done with outdoor after last year's debacle? Just can't quit, huh?

Iam not putting all my eggs into a late season green house grow thats for sure. Going to be moving a lot of plants around this season going back to 60 day depo plants in 10 gal pots after last yr the wife agrees with me. Veg for 3-4 weeks then right to 12-12 should be able to get at least 3 rounds in 12-15 plants each.

I love it. You'll prob get some interesting phenos out of the PTK F2s. I've read that Pine Tar Kush is a stabilized strain with 3 common phenos. Do you have experience growing it in the past? I've also read that PTK is very good for outcrossing to other strains for F1 hybrids. Have you thought about saving some of the pollen to use with other strains?

Definitely has potential! I'll let you know next fall. Will try to make some seeds and share.

To answer your question above, the Pine Tar Kush seeds originally came from Island Life Seeds in BC. I harvested some PTK pollen and dusted a PTK branch in my outdoor grow last year, those are the seeds @thumper60 is working with. The PTK finished later than I expected, we were well into October, whereas the Northern Lights finished in late September.

I'd love to try them out, I'd be interested to see how they perform down here in southern MA vs ME. Also would love to cross a male or two into the amateur strain I've been working on the past seasons. I could certainly reciprocate.

I have some red eye jedi pollen to work with. Also got some freeze 7 I starting working with I got from @big bud man 413 its serious 7 x freezeland ibl. Both showed 0 pm or botrytis in mass last season. Just popped some, and excited to use it to stabilize my outdoor herem. I can definitely send you some beans for your maracas in return.
