Ok got spot number two caught super early of pm on the flower mini clones two of them. They just hit 8 full weeks. Says 8-9wk strain which is just what they say but 9-10 wks is the most choppable I seen with the last strain same breeder. Same market times.

I want to consume it all while its still soso so Im thinking chop now or in a week. If I get a certain amount of rosin return I will grow it again maybe even first after the complete nuking. Then a revocery time of the mothers eradicating the pm. Then start again with two small 30 day veg clones.

Im suddenly doubting this will work but hell its my only chance besides doing a true nuking. Rip out carpets bleach everything. Idk or just keep thinking of new things idk. These dont have fans blarring at it though.

Probably gonna chop while I still feel ok about consuming it. pm once it starts if its anything like Ive delt with like botrytis Im just gonna chop. Cant wait to see if fans do anything omg this sucks.

It only took a couple weeks to have some nasty weed I dont want whatsoever. Ok back tracking it was wk 6 I saw a nasty infection botrytis that looks like its been there for a couple wks before that just oozing out spores so bad Id toss it all. A harvestable scenerio IMO is if you saw it a couple wks back but you only have wk 4 flower buds which is trash IMO.

So the PM happened on the rest of plants about that time so I trashed it. This is a rare scenario Im justifying keeping it. I caught the first one so early I questioned if it even was pm but saw the same symptom but earlier on another leaf so Im sure its pm and enough spores are around the buds but good enough for me.

I can forsure press it and decide if I want to grow it again based on that just temping not to take a dab to taste it too. I think its alright but damn some would toss just because but let me know what yall think. Ive changed my mind before with just a peep of someone elses insight.

Ugh here we go, grabbin the sheers. I hate chopping early but I learned things that have me making my decisions. I was going off of what others did and said but its within me now to make that decision if that makes any sense. Like being you best doctor but as a grower and your garden. I been watching and growing for a little now.

Spores aint good to have so Im not fighting pm it wins if it germinates period.

Super nasty rootball and gnats where blooming. Glad thats out of there and can clone my moms when pm is gone and wrap the moms in fabric bag panty hose too in fact theyll start the test. Theyre the only plants left Im tossing my veg tent I cant control the gnats in flower and yall know no need to repeat myself.

Well I wonder what would happen if I tested this out now, now that I fixed the rootball pruning it and socking it so now only thing I wonder is if Ill get pm… Budrot too but I can do some structuring to avoid that.. Its really the pm I wonder if I can do this. Fan on lowest setting shaking all the leaves.

I have no clue whats about to happen probably fail but if it works then awesome.

Yeah the difference is that the healthy new seed plants are all fresh in new medium (probably less gnats/etc), and somewhat more vigorous. The moms on the other hand.. sit around for a much longer time, and the odds of contracting some kind of pest or pathogen inevitably goes up the longer you keep them around. Still, its worthwhile trying to save if you really want to keep those genetics, and not lose time starting over.

You really do need to get the gnats under control, because they can harbor and spread mold and mildew spores around too. Little @$#%s. Pantyhose is the only way I know that actually worked. Your sock job looks good! Not too stretched at all. Bravo. Anotherr tip, is if there are still small holes around the drip lines and main stalks where you wrapped around using rubber bands or whatever.. even the slighest little crack that a flyer could crawl through.. you can fill the little gaps or holes in with non toxic aquarium silicone or something flexible. Were you saying to use yellow sticky traps inside the area you wrapped around the plant and where you tie it off? lol I kinda like that idea, but yellow sticky traps just attract more if you ask me. MAybe hot glue would work good to help seal, if it doesn't melt the pantie fabric as you apply with the gun. It sets up quick, and doesn't hurt the plant much, and can stretch out in time if you are going all around in a full ring. Might be worth a try if it still needs a little help in that area.

Earlier when I said you can AL new moms or whatever, what I meant was you could take a huge branch as the new clone (upwards of half the plant), instead of taking a little cutting that will take longer to veg out again. Also, keeping it dry the whole time it roots out without domes and whatnot, considering the outbreak you are dealing with.. Also, big enough that you can start cloning off it again fairly quickly. I've air layered new big mother plant clones that had other air layers rooting out on its branches at the same time as it was rooting out.

Shit I dont hear about it happening to people who clone they just keep at it but thing is I lose time anyway if they go to shit with pm. So Im not affraid of switching to seed only. I just had a fudge it moment and tossed a large clone had one left but was like hmm ok so thats less energy required to test this out. Cut the rootbound off and some of the side where was dense.

Yea not the sticky trap but the adhesive that comes with it, I realized you can buy the adhesive and apply how you wish. Il try a glue gun though or look into the silicone. I mean I have yet to check closely if the mom has any pm with the proper circulation but if not thats a good sign. That it was just growing basics 101 I screwed up.

People just clone and clone I worry about passing things along losing moms eventually but they just grow new white healthy roots. Maybe being paranoid maybe not. Thats the good thing about a veg area I can set up seeds on my own schedule from the flower room.

It dont have to be perpetual either I barely made it work even with clones and half the time didnt work. Like Ive done that many lol only 3 runs but 3rd failed. Only one good run and the next didnt finish right and the 3rd didnt finish at all. Then I realized I found a 20% hash strain and only need 3 runs to break for 6 months.

Though with this my new approach is just get whatever I can and grow non stop hell I could of done it. I just machine trimmed lost 200gs those 2 runs and that was already enough to break. Hand trimming could of gave me an extra 200gs or just about. 160 piece.

The glue is a good idea so you dont attract them to the vulnerable area I might do that I just have to look into it and see how I can apply it.

Then again growing a clone I know exactly what its going to do so I can structure it exactly how I want mostly. A good advantage right now. Also knowing what its going to yield in hash which is important. 20% is a good ass yield its the start of an acceptable range for even the snarkiest hash makers. Snobby? I ordered this stuff to put in it as where I tie it with wire it forms a little vally that can “I think” easily be puddled with this stuff as yes it attracts but the whole pot itself does. I can retie to expand it periodically, whatever the hell it takes. I ordered garden band tie but amazon shit its not arriving.

I hung one up in my room far from tents high up on wall no gnats for weeks but soon as I got rid of all plants which were infested.. They went for the wall trap finally so they know what theyre doing. They target the pot. So having some bait mostly as a trap will do I think. Theyll look all around pot if that but inevitebly go foe the only opening.

I looked into aquarium scilicone still open for suggestions I just didnt like what I read in reviews. Might not stay put and its a elastic surface moving around. Idk I just havent found any concern looking at reviews for this stuff. I can easily make a little bowl of sap with this.

Thatd one thing about gnats weakness they think they can crawl across the surface. My best results was laying the patrially unrolled fly tape across the top of pot vs hanging it up away from pot thought sometimes they go for it.

Found more pm on the moms wow I need to be thorough. Just a few spots but to my credit they were hard to see maybe werent even there a week ago. So I lolipopped and cleaned it up good and finally sprayed the copper on it. Shit I hope I can get rid of it probably my neglect. It was cluttered up still.

Sounds like you've come up with a whole strategy to tackle those gnats! Seems like you’ve thought through everything—from traps to sticky barriers

Right on, that goop should work. Keep it all greased up around the lines and main stalks so there are no gaps, good idea.. Haha, take that you pesky little suckers! No way in or out.

Gnats can be an issue when air layer cloning too. Not if you wrap the medium/pod with panty hose fabric and tie off the top and bottom of the branches though..


Looks like you should have good air circulation in the tent now, with the box fan. Remember to put it on a timer, so you can give the plants a break every so many minutes, especially if running it on high.

Heres my veg tent for now. Only the 1L plastic pots remain was gonna clone them out into small fabric pots same way. If this goes well for like a week or two Il flip the little ones to keep them small. Took some cuttings.

That would keep me sustained if I just repeat that and eventually recommission my last tent and back in it. That or these will go to shit and just only have the last option to get rid of the spores which will take a while.

Shit nervous about my 2.5x5 the board lights wont let much air through them. So between the lights above them? What about a pedestal fan oscilating? Hell thats if any of this works but I can try it I feel good about the 3x3 so far the bar lights are better when it comes to finding ways to fan it up.

Heres what it looks like. Cant fit pedestal beside but in the middle. Or one above lights between them, I know it was said it will work but Im nervous I want air flow I can feel and see. I can figure out another way but ya lets see how this goes shit Im trying to rationally put it back together to avoid store while Its not too late.

If I see pm at all Im pulling the plug. Will probably turn the room into a grow and get rid of all equipment that may be contaminated or just clea the crap out of them. Tear out carpet and clean walls floors. Idk where a minisplit will plug into hopefully if I go that route they can wire it to the breaker box so no cords running anywhere.

3 days flower no pm or gnats but I keep defoling slowly. Its not enough time but then again pm spread within days. Every leaf is shaking from air though but my 2.5x5 wont be like that. This plant is being air combed like hair comb Id hate to give it a break so its 24/7.

Probably not good for the fan or plants but shit paranoid. Might try to angle one on each side of 2.5x5 pointing down. The copper spray seems be working good. Another few days will tell more.

Edit oh wow actually 4 days in as I didnt flip right away.
