Leaf damage? Dtw coco

I really appreciate the help these are some crazy times. Maybe I never had it like that so now that its here in high concentrations it just will expose any plants that have my typical airflow conditions. It was scary how it grew in open areas too but they just had that muggy lack of airflow feel now that Im looking at mold in the tent. Otherwise it seemed fine.

Would you crank your dehuey up max or is 45% ok? That leads to 50-55 rh in tents if full but next time will probably be 45-50 as I intend to grow tiny plants. Better than nothing.

Do you grow plants that have a thick inner canopy? Or very well opened up and exposed to all air? Just wondering how to grow it next, Im thinking start small work up in size. 30 day veg vs 60. Opened up head to toe mini size. I guess I have tons of botritus too so cant grow fat colas. I grew the fattest colas ever this run and it failed which is another issue, rh dont fix, popcorn buds do though.

Holy cow sometimes I have to re read something several times which I just did, thats scary and why I suggested I just grow from seed just keep using the same strain maybe learn how to make my own regs which I heard are better anyway in the herm dept.

I dont understand this part though:

Also, you can take huge clone\s off your mother plants via AL, so your not wasting as much when you toss her out to replace with a new one. Basically take the biggest branch, or upwards of 50% of the plant at once if you want. Like cutting her in half, so you can toss the old medium that might be harboring even more spores or gnats and whatnot.

Like tossing the bottom half every now and then to refresh the medium its in? Wasting what? I thought clones being more disposable is less wasteful I just plain dont understand lol. Is there another way to put that? I might of understood but idk what you mean by wasting.

Also I notice a botritus like mold that can grow on the stem on the shaved nodes that were too close to the cut of the cutting. Mycelium I think in the root riot but ya. Any concern? Im starting to lean to testing fresh beans as thats what I did until now and never saw botritus or pm before other than my first failed grow.

Im getting the bbfus this weekend that was a awesome suggestion thanks, I look at my airpurifier Im borrowing and thinking damn. Just from the side can see its just a weak ass version of what Im about to make. Now how to hang them.. Probably same things youd use to hang a light and fan filter.

Man Im really considering it. I dont think its good to perpetuate those problems I can just start fresh each time with fabric pots and panty hose on both sides with dripper and main stem as shut as possible. A rubber band like you said as it thickens up.

Is my mother stock even worth saving.. I can keep my test method as clearly it works and end up with a small amount of stuff I love or hate then buy more beans.. Theyll love that lol.

I like to scrog with trellis nets and have wall to wall budsites with as evenly trained canopy as possible. I generally FIM the new growth shoots so often like an OCD madman that I have upwards of 100+ smaller budsites per plant (and sore thumbnails), to help mitigate any bud rot from forming in bigger colas. I like bigger slightly revegged\mutant air layer clones the best, because they grow so bushy from the start with lots of lateral branching which makes it easier to scrog out and control flower formations. I know the pain of finding big moldy buds all too well, so I don't really miss them, and rather trim pounds of smaller uniform nugs than deal with botrytis ever again.. I usually run the dehuey on continuous mode the whole time once they start to stack up toward the end, and don't like to take any chances without it.

Then the brown rootball issue.. Gonna get rid of the rootbound by using 1gal fabric pots with panty hose in the pot and outside of it, idk how the drip will work. Ive clipped a flora flex clip and tube with splitter just on a fabric pot before. Gonna do it asap Im dying to flower already lol.

This a good pair? Also is ozonated water made with a ozone machine a good way to IPM or handle a outbreak or is that a no go? Just wondering as I was watching something about it. Is any filter good thats merv 8 for mold spores? Will amy of these two brands do?

Any of those 20" box fans are good. I usually find cheaper ones locally at the stores when they go on sale for around $20, but the plastic does seem kinda chincier on them. Lasko brand if I remember right.

I would spend a little more and go for the 6 pack of merv 13 rated filters. Not too bad of a deal in bulk @ under 10 a piece. They will for sure filter out most of the particles in the air, and don't put too much strain on the fan motor. The higher the merv rating, the more restrictive they are, but finer the particles they scrub.
