morning, friends! we went over to a family member's house for the holiday. she lives in a neighborhood where the houses are close together, and lots of folks get into the spirit with music, decorations, etc. we crammed 8 people on a tiny porch and had a blast with the candy and kiddos. lots of good costumes; my favorite was the 11 or 12 year girl who sewed her own costume out of scraps from different colored sweatshirts and sweatpants, and she painted her entire face green. she even made a TY tag and clipped it to one of the ears she had sewn on her hoodie.

Constant activity at the front door was not Boomers fave, but he was a trooper.
Roxy was happy to greet everyone that came to the door. She got some pets until she decided she wanted to go out the door to join the kids that were leaving. At least she listened and came back in, I'm in no shape to be hunting her down in the neighborhood. Gave away 3 big bags of candy. Had an amped up crowd of kids show up and after they all got their candy a little girl quietly stepped up for her turn. She didn't say a thing just held out her bag, she was such a cutie, like a little waif in a crowd of partiers.
Mornin.
