A small oil filled electric heater would work, they’re pretty safe, but, if you don’t have a smoke detector in the tent, you should. How do I heat a 3x3 closet for growing. It's in my garage. Night temps will reach maybe 40 degrees.
How many watts does it consume? You might look into the heater from AC Infinity.
I use a lot of AC Infinity gear and am pleased with the results. You can put the heater in a tent and set it and forget it. It's can be set to run in different time on/time off cycles or to keep temperature in range or VPD in range, etc.
In my set up, the heater is outside the tent with a hose coming into the tent via one of the ports. The heater, along with the rest of the equipment, is controlled by the Controller 69 which has a tiny probe in the tent.
I used a oil filled heater and then a "panel" heater but went with the AC Infinity heater because it's a forced air heater so it heats up very quickly, delivering warm air wherever I aim the hose.
This but just remind yourself yourself to tape up any lights showing if anyA small oil filled electric heater would work, they’re pretty safe, but, if you don’t have a smoke detector in the tent, you should.
That's the max. The nice thing about having a "smart device" is that it will vary based on the settings. I think it varies both the fan speed and the temp of the warm air.How many watts does it consume?
I see 530 watts max on their website.
I face the same struggles in my unheated garage with no water. It's super well-insulated so it never freezes...but it does get damn cold. The only heat is a catalytic woodstove. It will keep the space warm but it is also a daily task to ensure it does. Last year I added a $mall heater into the mix inside the tent. The old school in me didn't like that much. Back in the day (HID) we would have just added in more light.
You might as well wrap your head around getting a dehumidifier. It's very likely it will have to go IN the space. I found out that the differences in temps inside the tent/outside the tent cause massive condensation on the tent walls inside. So much so I saw water dripping down and pooling on the floor in the corners/etc. If you just vent it out into the garage then everything is wet/the windows all fog/freeze/etc. It's amazing how much water the dehuey takes out daily.
So between the heater and the dehuey you might have space left for plants. Heehee. I hope you can figure something out. I'm still warring with the idea of trying again here. It's a lot of shit to juggle. Good luck in your quest.
