Morning coffee crew! I am finally getting new glasses today. Only took the Veterans Administration folks 4 months to approve my appointment after I broke my only pair. It's going to be so great being able to see again. The only downside to better vision is looking in the mirror and thinking.....

I can make sense of that. I'm getting away soon with a trip to DC in a week or so. The blue portalet is something I was seeing when I was able to take bike rides on a nearby road project that was still closed. Just me and world.

We've had a major road work project going on here this Summer. Paving...replacing guardrails...etc. One day we got stopped in front of the Black Bear Resort...and this happened... (OK...let's see if this link works)

We actually signed our 8 year old up for a pottery class (City of Toronto program) and he’s really jazzed about it. Now that I tell him choking is involved, it might change the complexion of the activity….

In 2019 we went to a ghost themed couples night at a pottery place. I could not stop laughing... they were trying to make it sensual and took pottery very seriously. We had to leave before we were kicked out.

Other than my blood pressure I got a clean bill of health from my doctor yesterday. I am most definitely not diabetic or even pre diabetic. My cholesterol levels are good. I may not even have sleep apnea anymore. Amazing what losing 50 lbs will do for you. We're working on the blood pressure. We've increased the lisiniprol dosage from 5 to 20 and now 40 mg. We will see how that goes. Got a new sleep study coming, my new doctor is on it! She's this feisty 4'10" Asian woman with purple hair and no time for bullshit. My appointment was at 9, I was walking out of there at 9:15. Very punctual that women.
