Mephisto Genetics

Agreed on the Gelato genetics they are using. I've done a couple of crosses with their Sundae Thumper gelato that is very good too!. I can't think of the name but Sundae Thumper x Walter White is very good as Grape Crush.
I like Grape Crush too. I grew 3 and they all turned out similar. I still have a little of it left too. It's a good evening smoke when I still have stuff to do. Not as heavy or long lasting high as some but that's sometimes a good thing. CDLC and the MBAP x InB stupify me. GC is good smoke without being overwhelming.

Some of their F1's turn out a little weird. Mine was tiny this time (49grams dry). But I will say that it is some really good smoke. Especially coming from a freebie 5pk. The phenos are diverse, but they're all special in their own way

I stunted my 1st attempt at double grape. It was about 10 inches at harvest. I think I got 4 grams or so out of it. Seedling got too wet and had some damping off. Operator error.
Tried a sample of the Gold Toof last night. Jars still have that hay smell, but it's dissipating. Tastes surprisingly good for being so young in the curing process. I was out at 7:30 and never woke up to piss all night, lol.

Sour Bubbly x Grape Walker Kush (both freebies). Came out pretty good. Nice hard cones. One was at 80 days, the other at 77, but both had pistils that had already receded, were amber, and no new pistils forming for several days. I don't necessarily strive for amber trichs, the can be elusive on autos. I'm guessing a minimum of 12 oz between the 2, dried.

pulled the trigger on Mephisto after reading this thread, among others here and elsewhere. seems like the best choice for autoflower genetics so i ordered directly from them, picked grappa and CDLC, and the freebies were double grape x strawberry nuggets. germinated a few already (learning all over again from long ago), but the plan is to grow at least 2 grappa and 2 CDLC for a first run in my 4x4.

maybe will try photos after a run or two bc it's not my first time as a grower but first time since 1990, and long term i am interested in cloning, but the autos look so fun so i had to give it a shot. last time i had one 150W MH light in a closet with unknown bag seeds from generic "high grade" (which worked out better than i expected), and now i got a 4x4 tent, ventilation and LEDs with autoflower genetics. the future is here. the autos are nice for the turnaround so let's see how these pan out.

I think you'll be quite pleased with CDLC. I had a huge yield. Very nice smoke with a nice head and body high. Seems to be one of the Mepheads favorites. Have not grown or tried Grappa. Just dropped a Mephistoreoz Neopolitan yesterday. I'll post anything of note.

thanks! yeah CDLC seems right up my alley and is definitely popular, and a lot of people seem to be happy with grappa so far, plus they're totally different lines. figured i'd go with something stabilized for half the grow and try an F1 cross for the others to see what comes up.

Nice! I have gotten nice plants from some of the freebies. I had a friend give me a couple each of CDLC and Ripley's OG the other day. I'm sorta tight on room rt now so I just started one of each. These ( so far) have been my fave Meph strains. I recommended them to a buddy starting out and they gifted me these. I've never really had any problems getting the right ratios of amber trichs but I've had other issues so I understand. I been wanting to try GWK, so great job.

You will love the CDLC. Out of all the Meph strains I've ran, CDLC is my fave. Very strong and a long lasting effect. What kind of lighting you running in that 4x4? If you're wanting to max the space, I'd run 600w. 400w is what I'm gonna use in my 3x3 and that's kinda minimalist. 4 autos in a 4x4 is going to leave extra space. I'd at least run 6. Good luck! Mephisto is some very good genetics. Never had a plant of theirs that sucked. A couple were real small, but that was grower error and the quality still rocked.

I am re-running the Double Grape. It is very nice. Their Forum Stomper is a big yeilder and good high to it also. Ran their Wedding good daytime smoke and another heavy yeilder.

Hey Carolina-
Was just going back through this thread- how are you coming along after your accident? Pretty scary stuff.
Also saw you mention oklahoma dispensaries. Do you live in OK?
I'm slowly getting better. Thank-you for asking. @curious2garden was a surgeon and she told me to be prepared for up to 2 years of recovery. But, lucky to be here and of crazy luck, Virginia just legalized recreational last year. So, I can't be charged for the probable half zip in my pocket. No, I'm not from Oklahoma. I just have some friends that know a trucker that runs through there and he brings them back weed. We are way better off growing our own than buying what some of that stuff has been. At least they legalized it though. If NC would then maybe I'd move back. Weed has been the best medicine for sure. Everyone that sees the wreck pictures swears nobody could have survived. But, me , my wife and our 75 lb labrabull are still here. Hey, not many of us can say that they've had both directions of an Interstate stopped for 2 hours and nobody went to jail or got killed.

Glad to hear your healing well. Sometimes God has us in his pocket, whatever your beliefs may be. I live in OK. Dispensary weed at some places is ok, some of them have exclusive growers. I've had some decent bud, but I prefer to grow my own. I know what's in it. Plus it's so damn enjoyable. I'm a lightweight when it comes to flower. I'll always outgrow my ability to smoke my stash. Couple of thumbnails in a glass bowl- more than good. But then again, I'm in my mid 60's.

I figured there had to be better weed there than what I've seen. My friends just take the truck drivers word that something is like it is. I'm sure that if you're not really looking around very hard and just take what's easily found then you get what they do. I've seen a picture that showed 3 levels of big jars full of buds. The top looked decent ,nothing spectacular, but, the lower shelf was boof. It looked like the commercial weed I used to buy after brickweed faded away. Again, at least it's been legalized. Whenever I go back home I have to be careful riding around because the smell permeates everything. I'd rather grow mine too. At least I know what's been done with it. The Cherokee Nation is opening their dispos recreationally next month so maybe the rest of the state before too long. I'm 53, so I get you not having to smoke a ton to feel it. I'm glad that I don't have to.

everyone raves about the CDLC and it's chem dominant so i'm psyched for it. i picked the ViparSpectra KS5000 which is 500W but the coverage is very good, the cost is fantastic because it's a couple years old at this point but it has quality diodes and build, and from what i've seen it can produce well and pretty efficiently with minimal heat. i figure i'll step up if i need to or add supplemental lighting later but it's nice keeping the operating costs down too. i planned on four plants minimum but it's looking like six now if all my seedlings survive. the last two are just starting to pop. the CDLC is starting slower than the grappa which seem to pop right away and climb fast. already having fun and will post updates when it's looking good.

The CDLC is just an all around great strain. The Chem traits are very satisfying. It's a great medical as well as recreational cultivar. I've got 1 that I just transplanted as well as a Ripley's OG which is another great Indica dominant strain. That KS5000 is plenty of light for 6 autoflowers. I am on a tight budget and I've been running a Szhlux 400w Bar Style for 2 years. It's only got LM281B diodes, but, it has good light spread using 9 bars. I have regularly run 6 autos. Right now i have 6 3g pots of flowering autos plus a couple smaller pots with photo clones going under this light. You should have no problems. Just make sure you have a good fan. Good luck!
