What in the world going on?? Cola growing from center of leaves

Its a mutation. Doesn't really change anything.

"Another weird cannabis mutation which always dazzles the home grower is the formation of leaf buds. These often form at the base of the leaf, where the leaf and its stalk meet. It’s a fascinating change from buds forming on the main blooms. However, the cannabis leaf buds do little to enhance yield. Some growers remove leaf buds to allow leaf biochemistry to function along more normal lines. But plenty of other growers enjoy leaving them and showing them to their friends!"

Thank you for the reply. Yes I have look into that article. But to me it looks like a cola is growing. Older it gets I will see. Plant only 27 days old from me pulling seed out of bag to start Autoflower mystery seed

I've read about leafs being rooted and eventually growing a plant but it does sound unlikely in normal circumstances?

Its a pain to process If you've a few plants.

That's not true.
And it's leaves. Not leafs.
The problem is for the most part there's no growth point, the little tiny buds are only going to produce a few caylxes then they're going to mature and not get any bigger. It's highly unlikely to put out more stems or growth points, or stack more than a few caylxes. Plus, in the rooting process there's only one leaf, and it's doubtful it would survive, but hey, give it try if you want.

Edit: another important question, photo or auto?

Also, what would happen if you kept pruning away all the dominant flower shoots from the rest of the plant, but left only the mutant leaf buds to mature. Would all the energy go into them instead, and they end up getting even bigger?
