Never used a spray in my life minus organic home brews for plant pests nothing dodgy stuff like garlic etc but i never let it get so established that I'd have to think about using something a bit more this why I like hand watering too the more your around the plants the more you notice things the quicker you can act I'd sooner use ladybugs just expect them to suicide into the light indoors rather fast unfortunately is there only downside otherwise they do deffo work if you got any aphids throw a few wasps in they love em Ive heard good things about praying mantises as well they meant to be good for eating pests too bit cold here tho for em mind you
I was growing organic at the time, made my own blend using what I could get at the time, sea bird guano I remember that vividly cause it stunk! long story short though, I had alot of cuts sent to me, some had the borg, wiped me out for a year, didnt have a clue what it was at the time and tried everything, I mean everything. the avemectin was the last resort, when that didn't work I got put on to nuke'em. I hate spraying but it was an evil necessity, there was no way I was losing anymore. I had all these amazing genetics and I couldn't flower them, it was brutal.
that ladybird plantcare is a cracking site though, thier aimed at the horticultural industry but obviously work a treat for us.
By the way I used to use DragonflyEarthMedicine when I was doing organic, best weed I ever smoked.

First time I had the opportunity so I jumped at it, I wasn't aware of the risks at the time. it was when broadmite had first come on the scene. It was something I look back on now and know I can pretty much deal with most things compared to the borg. Also showed me what a true elite plant should be, before that I had smoked nice weed but never like that. Learnt alot from that experience, definitely don't want to go through it again though.

Alright folks got any silver jewellery lying about this might be worth a bash for you @Star Dog idk if it work for the cheese but maybe worth a try if you got any kicking about this the first I'd heard of doing it this way makes sense when cs and sts works so why not

Thanks for link conor i appreciate that mate, that's interesting I wouldn't have expected it to work going on my understanding of silver nitrates job.

I remember reading the silver particles being so tiny small they get in between x/y cells and prevent them forming/joining into x/y cells or something to that effect?
iirc it also said something about the thiosulfate being a carrier of the silver getting the silver particles where they need to be.

Breeding doesn't float my boat like growing does I'm going to hold off with seeding until I've a clear plan in my head and more time on my hands,

I was thinking when the time comes if I can't get exo to self then lost skunk, cheese dipz or blockbuster might make suitable donors, jfc I'm not sure which I'm keeping but whatever it'll have something to offer.

Lol I've got more lost skunk heading my way and some out crosses to try.

Cheers bud

I expected the two weeks vegging to have more of a impact tbh I feel there's something missing compared to other crops they've never really come on form and they should be now but they're not?

The apple tree is looking nice.

Hey guys, I'm not really familiar with feeding without run off so idk what's happening in the pots.

I fed my gg from the top today with 0.2ec calmag added and run off was 0.4ec under the problem with that is the others look ok and nursing one plant isn't great?

Flipped two weeks on Sunday, I thought I'd flipped at the end of the week but it was the end of the month I flipped them.

I've not feed the others for 24hrs+ and the pot still feels a bit heavy so I'm going to hold off until tomorrow to feed.

I'm a bit early with it but regardless i cleaned out all the lower shoots and cloned them today.

Well nano silver works to reverse so I don't see why this wouldn't it's to do with the ethylene production in the plant

Don't use lost skunk or anything with the blues bx 2 it's ok for the first couple of gens but the blues bx2 breeds so dominant it will dominate the line long term id say they didn't think about it long term nor did ugorgs so that's best for finding a nice cut and keeping it but to breed with I think long term might make it harder on you I think thats why he released a ugorg bx vs a straight continuation of the ugorg1 line not so long ago

Getting into my fruit fly issue, now I'm fairly sure they're breeding under my pot lids on the coco?
It's sufficiently wet for eggs tho I'm unsure about food supply, however it's clear there's something available for them.

I've removed all the lids and turned on another fan to help dry the surface of the pots (fingers crossed I'm going insane with them)

I tested 25% ipa + wetting agent on some foliage and it doesn't harm them (48hrs) I then tested 20% on the flies and it fks them up quickly, even the ones I don't hit properly will die.

@Moflow thrips a royal pain if they're getting out of hand it might be worth checking out ipa I originally read about using it for thrips, spider mite etc, good luck

I installed my autopots and got them hooked up this week so they're ready to go, i cant see the roots so idk but they're not using a whole lot of nutrient so I'll keep with hand filling for now.

The devil makes work for idle hands right enough' I fimmed it yesterday :bigjoint:
So 4/5 days later I repotted it to a 8.5ltr pot then let it be untill recently when I removed some lower shoots and leafs (older pics)

The lower shoots have sprouted quite significantly since fiming it, the original growing tip has been overtaken by node below it, I need to mess around more with fiming more during the stretch period.

I'll post a updated pic tomorrow.

Holy moly i looked up foliar feeding epsom salts but the measurements are in cups, spoons and US gallons so fk that, I thought clones can take 1.0ec foliar so I'll try 0.8ec just to be safe...oh naw too strong luckily I only tested it on a few leafs but today there's signs of scorching, tonight I tried another mixture of 0.2ec calmag on some foliage...fingers crossed.
