That really shows what you're saying. Thanks for this info. It makes sense if you think from the standpoint that outdoors by the time light gets that short, then, the plant acts as if time is short. It makes sense but I've never thought to try it. Until you posted this. I think my light has a 10 hr. timer setting. If so, I'll be using it. I have a regular timer somewhere if not. How does it affect weight at the end . I have tiny space so I only get to run small plants. I'm sure 10 hours of decent light to the lowers is better than 12 hours of shit light.
Hey bud, I've not weighed one crop versus another but each hr represents 7/8% of the day so on paper that might work out I'm not sure tbh?

With a short vegging period and flipped to 11-13 I can grow 2x the plants with less hassle, I've no tying or training to do which is normally inevitable after vegging, there's more scope for variety which is particularly useful if you're trying to hunt something special?

What I can tell you is the buds are solid and decent sized.

Topped 3x and butchered for way too many clones . 10 gallon fabric pots , coco coir/perlite mix . 8 weeks old . I Started with earth juice seablast grow , now being fed nectar of the gods . These pics are about a week old . Out of 19 7 of them are 6.5+ feet tall and the remainders are all between 5-6 ft . I grew the same genetics last year , and they yielded extremely heavy . The outdoor smoke in soil was beautiful light green , super dense , frosty as can be - skunky and earthy . It is by far my favorite strain to grow .
If we can pull 1lb per 10 gallon pot this year , I intend on taking cuttings around mid February / March 1st , and planting first week of may in coco again with 50 gallon grow pots with a target of 5lbs per plant . We’re still in veg , and probably have another week or two before they will bloom and stretch but I suspect these willl all be in the 8-12 ft range come September and snapping branches from the heavy gooey nugs

I know this “goal” is done in cali frequently and other states with lots of sunshine , but this is extremely difficult to pull off in northern ny “might as well say Ontario Canada “ , but we did manage to pull 3.5lbs last year in 50 gallons - and the formula was so basic it’s kinda crazy . Chicken manure , then bone meal , with some synthetic tiger bloom ,open sesame beastie blooms and cha ching

I’ll post back with some updated pics of these trees in a couple days , when this torrential downpour subsides View attachment 5408145View attachment 5408146
Very nice garden. I hope you keep us updated throughout the summer.

I remember asking @shnkrmn about his harvest times because i didnt notice red hairs on his buds. After checking mine out today, I noticed that I have almost no hairs at all on my buds but they do seem to be plumping up and seem to be pretty dense. Am I correct in saying that this particular strain can't be judged by the hairs for harvest times?

Today is Day 58 since flip and I'm just trying to figure out how much more feed I need to mix up for em to finish strong.

I’ve always used a loop to figure out when my plants were done . 75% Amber , for highest quality , and on occasion I’d let a plant go full Amber - for some good “NyQuil nugs” as I like to call them ‍♂

currently I just use an active eye that attaches to my
Phone but seeing as it has 3 seperate cameras I found it easier to detach it from the phone bracket and look manually .

With the heat issues, I know they were slowed down a bit. I have been opening the front window and setting the dehumidifier up a couple ticks during the day to let the heat drop a few degrees and the rh rise a few percent so I'm thinking next weekend may be the time. It'd be nice to get em to plump up just a bit more if they are up for the drinkin.

It's been near 100 degrees here and I woke yesterday to no A/C in the house. I turned the box fan on hi and turned the light down. At 3pm it was 92 degrees inside. The grow space 2-3 degrees hotter. I have 2 plants almost done and several ready to flip. Crowded as my stuff is, I worried about mold. Technician got it fixed today. The plants were drooping but they were just thirsty. Flipping on Sunday.

In a rush today so lighting isn’t the best. She’s chuggin’ along nicely. Bushier than I expected, so a little trim job will be in order to open it up soon I’m thinking. No sign of those burgundy stems like y’all seem to get, but this ain’t no bougie clone, just a simple bean :)
