No it's a combination of genetics and the conditions there made some are big some are small however you can influence it with how much/and intense the light there under the more intense the more dense the buds will be hence the seeds are forming under more pressure so might be smaller or the inverse under less light anyway the biggest seeds are traditionally from stuff that was used for food as for stripes mottling markings or lack of again that is genetic they varyI remember when I used to get weed with a few seeds. Maybe 10+ years ago. It seems like the seeds were Much bigger than any seeds I have ever "bought". I also remember they had dark stripes.
Anyone else have this experience?
Typical of when kids think things are bigger when they are younger. When you get older you look back and realize it wasn’t as big as you remember.I remember when I used to get weed with a few seeds. I will say, I ordered a whole bunch of haze seeds that came from Spain, and them seeds were THICCTypical of when kids think things are bigger when they are younger. When you get older you look back and realize it wasn’t as big as you remember.
home growers wait until the seed reaches its max.selles wait until it reaches its min thats why you found huge seeds in your bags but bought small seeds.I remember when I used to get weed with a few seeds. Minus odd exceptions yeah Ime sativa seeds tend to be a bit smaller Vs indica I agree but I have had huge Thai seeds so there are exceptions to the rule as with all things when you pollinate matters too the Indians and some Thai folk too I think that they traditionally did the "elephant seed" method as they call it they pollinate real early kill all the males only get a few seeds and only grow out from the best plants of the bunch year after year so it lends credence to the pollination timing bit u mention mate cos they are bigger seeds that wayIf I use co2 they seem to be a bit bigger and thicker. When you hit them with pollen and how much you use also seems to affect the size and thickness. Also sativas generally seem smaller and indicas seem to be a bit larger.
