Just for the sake of sayin’, I was deeply disappointed in how Biden showed up, and he certainly showed his age. That said, that might’ve been the first regular-TV presentation of Rally Trump in all his lurid awfulness - a real lie-lie-palooza: for people who’ve avoided him, or haven’t watched any of his rallies recently - even if they’ve voted for him, this was a Trump they may have suspected but have not experienced the full wretched spectacle

For them, *that* will leave a bigger mark than Biden having a tough night

The public response has been enlightening: the Dem-side punditry is (or seems to be) split on ditching Joe, but regular voters seem not to’ve even shrugged. They’re not budging.

This was a test to see if the public will buy that Biden is mentally and physically fit to be president. This was a dismal failure on his part. He looked old, tired, confused and could hardly regurgitate what he was coached to say in a room where you could hear a pin drop. This is tantamount to elder abuse, and the democrats should be embarrassed for defending this geriatric nightmare. Did we see when Jill had to help him down 1 stair after the debate, while.Trump.swaggered out under his own steam? No one can seriously defend this.

Trump embarrassed himself by just bringing his usual reality TV star bravado. All nonsense, no substance. Expected!

Two cult leaders that, in the eyes of their supporters, can do no wrong. It really is a waking moment for America. Barreling head first towards WW3, and we're seriously defending the mental aquity of two 80 year old.men, like either one has any business at the helm of a swan boat let alone the free world. We (the world) are in a really dangerous position with a weak and distracted America. Ya'll better pray to whatever woke gawds you think will help, cuz we're in real trouble.

To the bolded (with respect,) no. The President did not acquit himself well. Most people on the left side of the tribal barrier acknowledge it.

However when the alternative is the end of the republic, any notion of choice collapses.

Running an 81 year old man in poor health is a decision I cannot support under any circumstances. If Biden is the only choice, that sounds like a democracy not worth saving.

The utter incompetence shown by this administration should be embarrassing and you should be calling for a resignation, but I understand why you're not when I see the VP. Ouch, what a position to be in, firmly wedged between a senile old man and a nitwit. I was hoping for a better choice this time round, but I guess when you're out of ideas, status quo will have to do. It's a sad state of affairs, and if you run him, the Democrat brand will be finished.

I wonder how much money the Justice department has had to spend since this clown came down the escalator. Probably lots.
At least Putin has gotten his investment in online trolls, bots, and general fuckery back, and then some.
