Just throwing it out there...
I HATE TRIMMING!!!!
Was up till 5:15am last night, up at 6:30am for work. Zombie mode. Got through about half of one tent. Still got the rest and a 3x3 to go. Round 2 tonight, plan is to conquer the rest this go.
I'll take some action shots.
This thread is for all things trimming. Any questions, stories, hate, love, pics, long dong shots (no not your bird, the buds only pls.) harvest flex pics, drying setups, whatever! Let's keep it fun. No flushing talk allowed. Lol

I feel your pain, I can relate, my tent is 6.5x6.5x7, and I just harvested, spent 5 days in trim jail, 22 qt jars of bud and 2, one gallon ziplocks of larfy bud, and trim, plus a couple grams of "scissor hash", I've got to look into a auto trimmer!!!!
I have one, it's sometimes more of a nuisance than a help...
5 days in trim jail?!!! Yikes that's quite the sentence! I'm hoping to get out in 2 with time served and good behavior :fire:

I pulled three, trimmed, then pulled 3 more, so it was a split sentence about 26 oz, dried cured and trimmed, then weighed. I never qualify for "Good Behavior"!(LOL)

I just got done harvesting 25 square ft of grow that took two days, luckily half took a week longer so I didnt have to in one day. Its the largest I harvested. I peobably could do it all at once but Im a rosin farmer so its a whole other jail harvest.

About to bag up close to half a p and press it. Then a few more oz that finished later. Heres 14oz. All turned to rosin already. Like 23oz all together.

I lake the dedication to hand trim wett. Yes i know it is the only way to get perfectly manicured buds with the least possible non flowermass. But at the cost of 8-10hrs of frustration and focus/lb its just not worth it unless it shows up in your pocket some how. Now i just bowl trim dry, yes it beats up the nice nugs a bit, eats the rabbit pellets into the trim and only cuts the leafs down even to the flower and not remove them from the stem. At 4oz/hr of mindless cranking no focus or dextarity required Im happy with the trade off.. The only time my wife complains that the house smells like weed is suring/after trimday, i have youngins i try not to currupt. So i got to have the kids go out with the wife or have them stay over with grandma and make diligent efficent use of my time
I thought I was the only one who saved scissor hash. Lookin all gross like a bugger collection.
The scissor hash's use is required to cope with the stressors of hand trimming.

Nice thats about my average too, like 2-4oz an hr wet trim bud trimmer. The bud trimmer trim is so rich in heads I turn it to dry sift rosin which could easily rival $80/g hash rosin at the store.

I dry herb shelf de nugged for a even dry asap at 60rh close to 60F as possible. I think curing is strain dependent Ive for sure cured some bud this way. I got uneven distribution hanging whole.

I really havent done it more than once though but I like the handling of de nugged already trimmed just bag. I guess I have a easier time calling it to jar that way.

Back in the guerilla days it was harvest in the morning and trim until your back couldn't take it anymore sometime in the evening . 3-4 steady weeks of that made trimming my indoor 8x8 setup seem like tiddlywinks . It was usually 3 of us trimming .

We rarely used scissors as it was faster by hand and the hash balls were a way to gauge who was slacking ! Always had a bottle of Lestoil to clean up our hands at the end of the day .

Yea I remember those days running in and out of corn fields with industrial garbage bags hauling them out to the road and loading up trucks! I actually kinda miss those days.

My dry sift rosin made me realize the difference and I do want to work towards that. I just spent 4k on the grow need to let it pay itself off running the same clones for a year.

The rosin from this strain is 12% average but very tastey and potent and Im a heavy user. Ive had others just as good but they were autos.

So yea I do and I vaped live resin for over a year all day every day. A little raunchyness is ok. I just dab it quicker low temp and dispose before it does that.

Sounds like my old Humboldt days in the 70’s, no corn, Redwood forests! Hardly had to be worried, in those days the county and law enforcement knew where their bread was buttered (brought a lot of money into a poor county) and didn’t really care if it was less than an acre! One funny story, they did raid a big grow about a week before harvest, didn’t find the “owner”. They load a dump truck with the weed. Then parked it in the impound yard behind city hall/sherrifs dept. The grower got a bunch of his buddies to start mock brawl out front, while the cops were dealing with it, the grower cut the lock to the impound yard and stole the dump truck, they found it empty on the side of the road a couple days later!
