beautiful day here. we got about 1/2" of rain yesterday which was enough to fill the rain barrels back up.
and we're about the pull the trigger on this boat:

i was picturing something with a cabin for passing out, er, i mean resting.... but he pointed out that we should get something manageable first so we can learn how to sail and then move up from there. he's (probably) right.

Delta breeze finally made it inland enough to cool us down, door and windows open. I'm afraid to look at our next electric bill.
Looks like my car needs a new alternator, might as well have them do the serpentine belt while it is off. I guess the alt needs to be taken off from under the car.
Mornin.

Happy Thursday y’all! Finally getting two straight days with no rain - Halle-frickin-lujah! Second last day of school for the kiddos (as though they’re doing anything this week - lol).
Stay elevated friends! @wakeNbaker46, that vessel looks like it’ll be hella fun! Sail safe!

Although we'd had 5.4" of rain, over a two week span at the beginning of June, the ground absorbed all of it, leaving it a bit dry for the last week and a half. So the inch we received yesterday, in less than half an hour, was a blessing. There were some crazy winds though that caused some damage. Here is a waterspout over Lake Erie just east of here that a buddy got a photo of yesterday.

I was headed home from work in Biloxi over the back bay bridge and looked in my rear view to see THREE waterspouts headed my direction. I don't know whether they died off once hitting land or not, I was hiding in my house ASAP.

Just finished jarring the first half of the harvest. 7 jars so far. I still have the bottom half to harvest. I like to chop the top half and let the bottom half ripen for a couple of more weeks. Should end up with 11 jars, I've already smoked at least a jars worth, so around 12 jars altogether, 3 jars per plant.
I've had better yields but not better pot. All 4 strains I grew this time are most excellent.
So far the ICC x caramel cream appears to be the most potent of the 4, shit will mess you up!
