Thats exactly why I avoided all the newer Dj Short BB versions. I m on some pretty good old BB plants right now . I m doing a Dj Short 90s BB preserve .Took me 2 years to put this together.. Other then that I m running Coastal BB ,907 Blue Genes/NL and AKAB Vintage BB . Im also waiting on some old DP BB from the late 90s that have sat in the freezer forever to jump right into . If your still looking for a good BB shout me a DM in a month and a half.

The proper old dutch passion one was killer ime you ever get that resurrected give me a shout thats proper blueberry mate

Was the old DJ Short BB sweet? I remember it being more musky with a little berry undertone with no sweetness. Everything I've tried in the past 15 years has Sweetness in it. If that makes any sense.
Just chopped down a Relic Huckleberry Cough and it smells like Sweet Berry syrup. Smells very similar to Blue Magoo bx3 to me.

Yeah , I m fired up to drop the Dutch Passion BB . Will keep u in mind when I get them going. The old school Dj Short BB plants are insane .Purples and maroons in veg have me drooling. I can t even think about the colors this plant will possess when the cool weather rolls in ...

Im sure wat dj refers to as an what people know as pre-98 blueberry or the old dutch passion blueberry was just a small slice of the overall blueberry genetics. From what i remember dutch passion selected certain parents that passed on certain traits. That was only a small piece of the pie and was the side most people know as the blueberry were more plants came out with those more blue and violet colours and tastes and smelled of the fruit in varying degrees.

Definitely i think that be the one most would know and remember as the old blueberry

Yeah , I know Dj had no real imput in selecting parents when DP worked with him ,I believe Sag also didn t really let him have much say in selecting the parent which surprises me seeing he probly knew the strain the best back then. I still haven t found or smoked a better BB then the 90s Dj Short BB .. I ve been on a mission to find something close to that awesome strain. I m doing this preserve to hunt for it and also have an old DP BB version that Im gonna start 30 seeds of tomorrow. Lots of work but should be worth it in the end.

Worse than that they meant to pay him properly and ripped em off for blueberry pretty much
