That would be the logical thing to do but I don't think I'll be around for when it needs replaced again. You going to add a shutoff while you can for the next time?
Go tankless! I can have an hour long shower and never run out of hot water.Woke up too early thinking about the hot water heater replacement. Had to go check my measurements again to make sure the new one will fit. Don't want to drop over 6 bills and not have it fit. With the washing machine on one side and a freezer on the other there is going to be some appliance moving before it can be done. The freezer is the most logical choice and PITA to move. There is no shutoff valve for the water going into the tank so it has to be shut off at the main. No water till it gets swapped out.
Being a homeowner is so much fun.
Mornin.
That would run $2K or more just in parts and I have to have someone install it, not sure it is a good idea with the minerals in our water.Go tankless! I can have an hour long shower and never run out of hot water.
We lease water heaters here so it's like $40 a month and they covered all the install costs. That would run $2K or more just in parts and I have to have someone install it, not sure it is a good idea with the minerals in our water.
All throughout spring I was complaining that it was like a waterfall on our patio every time we got a heavy rainfall. Maintenance finally sent someone over with a ladder and a 5 gallon bucket. This is what he pulled out of the gutters. His little bucket couldn't fit it all LMAO.Gutter guy showed up at 650 am. He got a couple gallons of bird nest crap out of one downspout and sealed up everything nice and tight.View attachment 5398396

We have 4 Kentucky coffee trees - 3 females and one male. Planted seeds 23 years ago and have given hundreds of seeds since they started producing. That tree has the largest leaf of any Canadian tree. But they are messy. We have giant kentucky coffee tree on the property and it leaves seed pods everywhere in the fall. I hate that tree.
How many yard waste bags do you fill in the fall?We have 4 Kentucky coffee trees - 3 females and one male. Planted seeds 23 years ago and have given hundreds of seeds since they started producing. That tree has the largest leaf of any Canadian tree. But they are messy.
Thank you, I'm too ashamed to show the others yet lolAh right ... you can thank the little emerald ash bore beetle for that.
It's mainly the leaves that need to be raked up in the fall - which get burned on site. Many of the seed pods don't drop till late spring. The pods are emptied and seeds donated. Some seeds were also planted and transplanted to a local community for park trees. How many yard waste bags do you fill in the fall?
Tell them they need to provide a tree condom...I had a different yard problem this year. HOA sent me a letter because my mesquite tree had dropped so much pollen my yard was yellow.
Isn't that called a rubber tree???Tell them they need to provide a tree condom...
