I had the kandy kush back in 2010 and it’s exactly how you describe, bought 10 packs never found her again, she was a red stem pheno.

This is a super late reply, I grew some golden lemons and it was bomb! It had the smell of lemon PEZ candy. or lemon heads, super fruity lemon candy. I grew it in 2021, only one plant, with a tent full of tangie and sour blueberry from reserva privada. While I had another tent full of afghan kush Tangie, I have been growing it for years, a couple of friends have been trading clones of it around to keep the strain alive, but last summer we lost it. I started a new seed from the same batch and it just as tangie as the last! I am close to harvest. Anyways.. stoners' rant. I have been trying to find a good golden lemons for a while now, because the one I grew by itself was one of my favorite plants, and it was a sample. I bought a 3 pack with no success. I am hesitant to buy more, I have so many other seeds I have been sitting on and want to try.

Nice read. I been wanting to find some reviews of th seeds. I started perpetual clone grow to yield rosin. Im growing Watermelon Ultra by th seeds which is the mentioned ultra here crossed with watermelon.
I popped a couple beans to start and they both were good enough to keep to this day not much later. I should and will continue hunting slowly soon.
But this watermelon ultra was high yielding, an easy 7oz from a 2x2.5 or just under that size canopy. Its better when cut just in time rather than letting it ripe too long.
Its super gassy lemon taste. It matures into a wore out version of that if I let it ripe with all orange hairs for an extra week or two. The rosin was yielding 15-20% and was very flavorful.
So watermelon ultra is running the show until I find something better. It checks all the boxes of what I look for. I messed some things up and got a few nanners. Hoping thats my fault and not bad genetics.
I need to switch to buying from myself asap or else Im just going broke from buying and growing. So this is so far doing the job but not run it full scale yet or even flowered the clones yet.
So it could be trash, it seeded pretty bad but could be my fault. It takes a while to harvest perpetual and find more keepers, I just started. So hope I made the right choice.

Check out T.H.Seeds London Mint Cake for a huge yielding plant with crazy terps and tests at least 24%

Does it get you baked though ? I find all these cake strains lacking in the punch department personally it be nice if one actually did some damage rather than just look and smell/taste nice lol

Maybe ok for one of the bigger more known places but theres alot of little guys and boutique style smaller breeders out there from the eu/uk and all over who do great work yet you hear far less about them your right tho that few dutch folk breed commercially in Holland still these days cos of the law so if th seeds still does then them and karma and kc brains are probably the last of the bunch that way that still do over there

So is this the th seeds thread or should I make my own lol. I cant find any. Anyway wow, I rooted 5 clones and flowered them all. To hold up production to grow out a bunch of clones idk if will even herm is wild. I didnt know seeds ruin the flower rosin so I just kept it being told to try clones.
Well, that rosin didnt hurt to dab and was unviable small seeds. I had a couple strains herm on me and seed badly and the rosin tore my throat up. One less than the other but still.
Well they didnt freakin seed at all and been running this clone since. I grew 3 new strains different breeders they all hermed. This one I got now by IHG isnt too bad but still found a few seeds growing the other day.
Before all those I did banana candy krush by t h seeds and didnt seed at all but did see at least one blown nanner. I tossed because it got PM and was defending my watermelon ultra amd besides, the flower rosin yield was low. Like 13% but that was all that was wrong with it.
I found two phenos same breeder, one can yield high which is what youre looking for while you may get one that only yields half that much or less. So I want to grow another BCK.
Most delicious flower rosin ever but I notice between the WU and BCK from Th seeds they smoke harsh as heck. They dont do much when you cure it. So are these just meant for hash or something Im doin wrong idk. Ive had multiple strains smoke fine with no cure dried brittle.

You know what tho this reminds me I did the BCK as clones never from seed. I doubt what happened with the WU would happen with all their other strains.
Its a low chance that happens and is not a everyday thing or else it would be a common known fact amoungst us that cloning stops seeding but its just not true. One person here I think said its happened to them many times tho. So theres that.

We get earlier and earlier in my journey here. One run of 5 clones gone to PM and budrot which I fixed. So just had various size clones flipped one run. The numbers steadily got better but have a tent doing 10oz vs 14oz two clones. So stuff happens so got to factor that into future expectations.
The nugs get smaller the further back we go as I lacked plant training to bring out that traditional structure.

Oh I did have some plants on the second run have colas die and dry out and little bit on the first run too. Too this day I really never seen anything like that or think I was wrong to toss the dead buds and consume the rest. I was suggested to do that like they do with budrot too. I was almost done with it when I started to question that.
I had gnats and aphids chewing up the roots that I doubted was why. Well when portions of root system damaged and rotten some colas will struggle to uptake and just die is my conclusion. My stoney conclusions that sometimes lead to somewhere. I got rid of the bugs sealing up the dtw coco pots and never saw that again. Healthy roots smell normal.
The 3rd run and on that stopped happening by luck. I got rid of bugs completely by 4th run and on. Working on my 5th run. So ya that said I would assume its that and the faster the plant is dying the more risk that some of those nasties from the rotted roots can work its way up into the flower maybe not idk but consume at your risk.
Id solve it before moving on as it was taking whole plants in a week. I thought it was pythium for the longest time. Its possible, from the bugs. Id chop asap if that happens.
