Day 65ish. This is becoming a good, bad and ugly grow. Two steps forward (last grow), and now a step back perhaps, though this round should still be productive enough. I’m definitely battling the winter coldness of my basement grow space and the affects of combatting it (damage from heater). The shorter, bushier Creme de la Chem look nice, though they don’t appear to be huge producers. Looks can be deceiving of course, and there is lots going on in the undergrowth. They are both stinky, and after a slow start are moving along fast, with lots of pistils turning over. Still a bit to go, but surprising for their age. The Créme close to the heater shows the close heat exposure (same thing that has the Gorilla far down a bad path, lol! - I’ve put some cedar type pieces as barriers, but too little too late where the damage is done). The taller plants continue to suffer from light/heat exposure (?) earlier in the grow. I’ve stopped rotating them, as in retrospect, everyone got blasted by potentially unhealthy closeness to the heat. I’ve kept the Gorilla there simply because it’s already damaged and I’m happy to have it be the barrier. I look at the Gorilla Cookie in partcular, now almost completely defoliated in the top half due to drying out, dying leaves, and think of what could have been! So many bud sites and colas! Amazingly, she continues to fatten up and is incredibly stinky, and I’m starting to think I’ll get something I can atleast cook with, despite the bad damage. Already more resilient than expected. I’m ready to chop at any sign of rot, but I’m also keeping things dry in there, now @48%, and will let her go, as ugly as things seems. White widow has stabilized since I moved her further from the heat. She’s also fattening up but has damage to lots of the upper leaves, likely to affect her end potential. We’ll see. Particularly interested to see if the Gorilla will continue to fatten up despite her bald condition. The Creme will at least give me a decent harvest of what looks to be nice bud - Mephisto! The others - it’s a wait and see. I’m determined to grow both the tall ones again. So much potential, but I burned them this round. Bunch of shots below. Everyone got watered after I was away for the weekend.
