HI guys,

I have 9 plants, 6 weeks old.
Its getting very crowded in the tent and I need to get out the males.
I tired to find early flower signs, but its my first time with regular seed.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Pretty sure # 3 and 5 are ladies. Not very sure about the first and last pics, but the rest look like boys.
#3 & 5 are female.. The rest look male.. Wait for pistils to make sure..
Thank you guys, I am pretty sure too that 3+5 are females
This is pre flower, it will continue? I will see pistils in females?
This is 6 weeks and I need to transfer them to 11 liter, but only 4 of them..
Time is critical

I will throw Plant 9, Plant 2 and Plant 4
Not sure about Plant 1, I will check again in few days.

I have a cut from each plant that flipped to 12:12 for 2 weeks now, but still no sex sign to help me found out the males...

Will check them too and update

It’s still a bit early. Plants usually differentiate at around 6-8 weeks from seed. It varies, but that’s the general rule. they should continue to actively pre-flower from here on out, and show better examples of their true identity as time goes on.

I can't wait as I need to transfer them and I have place only for 4 plants from the 9 I have...
I will wait for the cuts to give some signs too

I use this sexing service. Enables me to cull the males within a few weeks of germination. Worth every penny as I am currently under some very tight growing spaces.

Not available in my country

Another thing guys,
Is it safe for now or do I need to throw the males NOW?
I mean can they do harm in preflower? or I can wait a bit more to be sure about the sex?

Safe for now.
Males won’t drop pollen until a few weeks of flower and they are real obvious by the time you need to worry. Yours are no where near being a worry.
What’s the strain? Does it herm?
Nothing is preflowering in those pics in a definite way.
Some plants just put out little weird growths and it’s not worth saying something is a girl until you see the two hairs poking out.
Leave them in the small pots and flick them 12/12 until they show if you are really under the pump for time.
I once put an Hawaiian snow in the ground I swore was female on early signs like you are posting pics of - turned out to be the biggest male I ever grew.
Wait for the hairs to show.

I have 9 plants, so I thought well, lets go the easy way, put them in 2 liter and let them flower, remove the males and have fun. Kind of SOG but with limited number of plants.
But then I got greedy... I moved them to 7 liter.
Now I see how beautiful they are, so I want to leave 3-4 female in 11 liter in scrog as I always do and maximize yield.

The thing is its getting too crowded in the tent...its 9 plants in 3X2 tent. I can't wait too much, and I don't want to flower them in 7 liter.. I want to move to 11 liter, but again, I don't have the place, 7 liter is already too much for 9 plants.
Maybe I will top them again to hold them back a bit, I did only one top till now.

I understand what you are saying about the female, but can't I decide about the males?

I hope that in 3-4 days I will get more signs.

Cool thanks for the update and pics.
Not too overcrowded yet I’d say.
I’d stress less and wait.

Topping will slow sex showing - as sex shows in the main top earlier then until plant get bigger and display on branches.

Since your plants look sativa I’d also be prepared to just run one or two in your space.
Know how much your strain stretches?

Yield is proportional to root volumes.
Whether one plant or four.

I’d wait for your clones to show and pick the female/s that makes the earliest resin and smells the best.

Strain is super silver haze, suppose to have a nice stretch, even up to 2X

Usually I ran 3-4 plants in the tent, and I had some strains that like to stretch, GSC for example
I am working with scrog and super cropping, so no issue, but good advice I will aim for 2-3 top, depend on the final pot size.

"Yield is proportional to root volumes." - yea that's why I want to move them to 11 liter, or even 18 if I will leave only 1 or 2.

Good point about the topping,
I will wait few more days.

Thank you very much for the help
(:
