Nope, has to keep original equipment. They do a visual inspection. Engine swaps need to be smogged for the year of the engine.

Last electrical storm here, I drove to the top of a mountain with my gf. There was another couple up there, watching the lightning. We were shootin the shit, just talking, then all the hair on our bodies stood up, and at the same time the lightning struck so close that you could feel it in your chest. Suffice to say, we all got back into our cars at that point, lol

It was mostly cloud to cloud too, but occasional strikes to the ground. Still, freaked us out, haha

That happened to me and my rottweiler.......we both dropped to the ground at the same time lol
