Should I scrog, or let it grow without

Hello fellow growers,
I seem to struggle with the decision to scrog. I'm growing mostly indicas but I have a couple of sativa's in the bunch(blue dream). I'm also growing GMO, Mandarin Cookies, sunset sherbet and Gd father OG. I've always debated with whether I should scrog as I've seen grows that do well without screwing. My question is since I have multiple different strains and I think plenty of room for the stretch to not come within 2ft of my grow light, will it be worth scrogging them.

If that is your flower tent and you’re going to have that many plants in it then I wouldn’t bother with a scrog. I have a scrog and trellis net, but only grow 3 plants in a 9’ x 3’ space. It all depends on how long you’re going to let them veg, how big the space is, and you light height.

Is that your flowering space or just veg tent? Better flip those bitches before they get unruly.. I used to Scrog absolutely everytime, last two grows I didn’t, I still trained them a little just to open up the plants and let the light in and have had my two best yields yet. And another benefit is the ease of moving between and around plants.. so hard to reach the back of the Scrog net.
Nice plants BTW :weed:

That's the flowering tent and I flipped a week ago. I let them go a little longer than I should've in veg. I like that approach and looking forward to the ease of access. Less crawling around. Thanks for the feedback and hope I can keep them looking healthy.

I wouldn't scrog but I would set a couple layers of netting using zipties. Just order some 3.5" square nylon netting and some heavy duty zipties to mount it to the poles of the tent so you can slide it up/down to support colas.

Ok, I'll install that above the canopy in case the buds get too big. I ran G41 and crescendo my last run and the buds did swell significantly during the last three weeks. I didn't have a scrog up and had to use bamboo sticks. It seems like I do more harm with scrogging as I haven't mastered the technique yet. Thanks for the feedback.

It's a 4x8 tent, and I flipped a week ago. I have two AC Infinity bar style lights. Right now they are 4ft from the lights. The blue dream and mandarin cookies are the taller ones. I do see more people scrogging with less plants. Thanks for the feedback.

So I decided to run two of my grows with a trellis and leave the 4x8 without. Some of the plants leaves look fallen/droopy as I missed a watering and I'm growing in Coco and 10% worm castings and 20% perlite. I'm using GH at 50%, silica and cal-mag since I had a lot of success with it before. I usually stop cal-mag at week 5 and start using Humboldt Secret sweet and sticky. I'm feeding nutes every 4th watering. I'm growing with AC Infinity 600W Evo lights. I noticed slight curling on one of the leaves so I reduced my lights at 60%, week 2 of flowering. They are at the top of the canopy. Temps holding steady at 74 lights on and 65 lights off. I don't partake yet. I retire in a year. I grow for my wife as she needs it for medicinal purposes. I haven't smoked in 27 years so I'm definitely looking forward to smoking a joint when I retire next year. I love growing and it's really therapy for me as I have PTSD so I appreciate your feedback and thank you! I'm a new grower so any advice is much appreciated.
