Will up feed tomorrow. It's an overall deficiency, not just calcium and/or magnesium. 1.2 is too light. Try 1.7-1.8, flush it through to bump up the medium EC..
And i agree thats why couldnt put my finger on exactly wa it was. It's an overall deficiency, not just calcium and/or magnesium. 1.2 is too light. Try 1.7-1.8, flush it through to bump up the medium EC..
Yeah if you were to just start feeding with water only that's how the plants would look after several days or so.. So no specific element, its all of them lol.And i agree thats why couldnt put my finger on exactly wa it was.
If you don't buffer, the coco steals Ca and Mg from the nutrient mix which then doesn't become available to the plant. As for 1.7 & 1.8, I don't even hit those numbers in flower, but certainly you can condition plants to accept high EC feeds.I didnt buffer my coco because was told had enuff in my tap water and nutrients. Clearly wasnt enough.
So whats plan to get them bak thriving? You not think 1.8 ec quite high for small stressed out plant.Yeah if you were to just start feeding with water only that's how the plants would look after several days or so.. So no specific element, its all of them lol.
Yeh i think thats abit to high. Especially after reading runn offs. Whats going in is similar to whats coming out.. so not really asking for more. If i was feedin 1.4 ec an run off was 0.6-1 then yeh up the feed.. i like to here other coco growers thoughts. If you don't buffer, the coco steals Ca and Mg from the nutrient mix which then doesn't become available to the plant. was just giving an example, that its not one specific element its lacking. That's exactly what an underfed veg plant looks like. The runoff is the same as the feed because those small plants don't drink too much, so some water is evaporated, leaving a little salt behind. If it were all of them, it would show all deficiencies. If they were my plants, depending on how they were looking today, I'd keep the EC the same and bump feeding to twice a day.Yeh i think thats abit to high. Especially after reading runn offs. My clones get rooted in 2.2+ flower nutes, from there they get transplanted and fed 2.0 or so veg nutes. I'm actually going to start feeding them initially with 3.0 to get the medium EC up..So whats plan to get them bak thriving? You not think 1.8 ec quite high for small stressed out plant.
An underfed veg plant would certainly show a N deficiency and this doesn't have that. The chlorosis is interveinal. He said he's been feeding for a week if I recall correctly, but wasn't adding calmag and didn't buffer the coco.was just giving an example, that its not one specific element its lacking. Yeh thats correct and i normally buffer the coco as coco holds on to the cal an mag. Cation exchange. An underfed veg plant would certainly show a N deficiency and this doesn't have that. Well, yes, clones are conditioned to take the same EC as the mother plant is conditioned to take.My clones get rooted in 2.2+ flower nutes, from there they get transplanted and fed 2.0 or so veg nutes. I'm actually going to start feeding them initially with 3.0 to get the medium EC up..
Regardless of the nutrient line, the coco needs to be fed first before any plants go into it. If a nutrient line has a lot of calmag, then it just means you don't need a separate calmag additive, but you still have to buffer.Yeh thats correct and i normally buffer the coco as coco holds on to the cal an mag. This time becaus ei swapes nutrients i was told there was enough cal mag in the base nutes. But clearly looks like there wasnt
Needed potting up mate. I dont pot up wen i see roots out bottom i wait a werk after that. Root ball was good.Light stress.
Up temps to 80f
And just because roots come out the bottom doesn't mean you need to pot up.
They explore and poking out the drain holes doesn't mean anything
