I realized I have a powdery mildew problem on 3 of my hash plants in the ground. How do you recommend handling this problem? After I took these pics I sprayed them with a 40/60 milk/water mixture. I read this Can help kill the mildew and stop the spread

There's sadly really no way to eliminate it once it sets it's ugly foot....you can use products to control it, but it will always come back. About the best you can do is nurse it to as finish and then wash it before using it.

And awesome product to prevent it in the future is Regalia. It's like $50 a quart but organic and super effective. It would even help now greatly. ..all depends if you want to spend money of not.

Iam not seeing buds yet copper or sulfur fungicide will take care of that easy.
I second this. You're plant just started stretch so youll have a couple weeks to get this under control before you cant spray with that fungicide. After that you can use a BioFungicide that you can use in flower, Arber makes one and they sell it at WalMart, it works the balls and it works for bud rot and other bacterial and fungal diseases. Dont forget the pump sprayer. Good luck PM is son of a bitch.

Not sure if it will eliminate it but I’ve had great success with green cure. It’s potassium bicarbonate and safe to use right up to harvest. Im currently using zerotol spraying once a week to prevent since it’s been such a wet summer and they are just starting to flower. The zerotol is hydrogen peroxide and some other stuff that is supposed to kill all molds and mildews. But as mentioned it’s really hard to get rid of it once it starts. Humidity and the temp changes from day to night are huge for mildew breading. Wish ya the best of luck

Get a very small bottle of " Banish " fungicide from Amazon or wherever( it's very concentrated , goes a long
ways , covers a lot of area). It's geranium oil . Developed in Netherlands . Can be used both for veg phases and flowering. I've I've reviewed all government and EPA
MSDS ( material safety data sheets. I've talked to chemist that work on site at sanctioned grow facilities. It's safe. No harmful products of combustion. It has never failed be. Two spray applications within a week and it disappears. It actually
kills PM where other products are meant for prevention. I never lost a plant. It's amazing.

Sulfur is just a preventative. It has to be applied before PM shows up. Therefore, you must treat plant constantly. " Banish " actually kills PM. When it shows up, a couple of spray treatments within a week and it disappears. No shit. I love that fungicide.

Yea definitely air flow and milk or peroxide things like that just slow it down. In my experience once it sets in nurse it with fungicide before flowering. But if other guys had success with that expensive stuff I'd try it cause will get worse and bud rot happen last year on mine to.

Definitely try to prune alot under and around cause no air flow gets behind em. That's exactly why mine got it just like yours did. Looking great though
