Long road trip for work. Drove 100 miles up the coast, then followed the river 100 miles inland to Norridgewock village.
It was an Abenaki village and French Jesuit outpost abandoned in 1724, after several colonial English raids.
Used to be fields, wooden fortifications and palisades, bunk houses for the converted.

Burgers are awesome.

What do y’all think about the crafts in the back ground? My lovely wife made those, she’s really talented for someone that only started crafting about 18-24 months old. She never even touched a craft before that.
That's a gateway craft. Keep a close eye out, before you known it she'll be blasting through cricut on her way to 3D printing.

Nooooo don’t say that. Dude I can’t keep ink in the paper printer. She has a friend with a cricut I’ve spent a small fortune on vinyl. And we’ve lost a bedroom to the craft hobby. Just last week I bought her a detail sander and a compressor, next week we ( and I do mean we ) try to learn to air brush.

Fuck the Cricut go straight to the ScanNCut SDX330D. When she's ready for embroidery holler. I know exactly the machine she needs :D

I'm getting ready to embroider Moana on the back of a Jean Jacket for my grandkiddo for Christmas! I'm saving so much money rather than spending $100.00 on it at Disneyland
