Trump fundraises off fraud trial: ‘Nothing can break me’
Former President Trump on Monday was quick to fundraise off of his fraud trial in New York after proceedings wrapped for the day.
Trump’s campaign blasted out a fundraising email with a subject line of “I just left the courthouse” roughly 20 minutes after court was dismissed in Manhattan, where the former president had been present.

The fundraising blast repeated many of Trump’s claims about the investigations and charges against him, including that the trial is political in nature and a continuation of a “witch hunt.”

“Politicians, drunk with power, are weaponizing the legal system to try and completely destroy me — and, ultimately, imprison me for the rest of my life as an innocent man. And why do they want to stop me so bad?” the email asks.

“Because they know that I’m on the verge of winning the 2024 election in a landslide and upon taking office, will take away their power and return it to YOU, the American people,” it continues. “So, let me say for the millionth time that NOTHING can break me.”

The fundraising email was similar to those Trump has sent after indictments and court appearances in other criminal proceedings, including federal cases in Washington, D.C., and in Florida, and it underscored how the former president and his campaign have sought to capitalize politically on Trump’s legal woes.
I wonder if he's still playing golf as much as he used to when he was prez.

I think his court calendar going forward will cut into his time on the course and when they do lock him up, it won't be club fed and there will not be a golf course there either, not even a putter and some green carpet in his cell.

Realistically, he is being tried and will be convicted of the same crimes as his codefendants by the same judges who will sentence them all. Are they gonna send the rest to prison and give the kingpin Trump house arrest? In DC his codefendants will be tried after Trump and in Georgia some will be tried before he is, by the same judges who will sentence them. By the time all this happens Trump should be disqualified, so forget politics as a factor and the law makes no provisions for Ex presidents. Garland believes in equality under the law and the BOP is under his purview, so other than security, he should be treated like any other federal prisoner held in a maximum-security prison.

Will Cheesehead and Kraken have the cuffs put on them in court when they are convicted in Georgia at the end of this year? Will they be held in custody until sentencing? If they do, so too will Trump, he will be watching on TV.

Trump is in court to intimidate witnesses, maybe if he glowers at them, they will clam up!

Donald is screwed, imagine a massive judgement around Christmas, being disqualified at around the same time and seeing his two codefendants convicted in Georgia! Merry Christmas Donald, keep mouthing off and you will be spending it in a jail cell until you accelerated trial date in DC. Donald will have a Helluva Christmas, and a most unhappy new year and people will be talking and saying nasty things about him. He might have to move out of Mar A Largo when the receiver puts it up for auction along with Trump tower and his other properties.

Judge Arthur Engoron, who is overseeing the New York attorney general’s civil case against Donald Trump, said that the trial itself is not the venue for Trump’s attorneys to contest what he’s already ruled on.

The muzzle straps are getting tighter and being pulled on by several judges. Maybe Trumps should solve the problems in the house and take the speakership himself! I mean he doesn't need to be an elected member to be speaker and he could hide from the law and abuse the position! The house republicans have a problem, and only he can fix it!
lol...actually there has been some calls about Liz Cheney getting the job as speaker.....idk if that will happen......

oh this gag order comes quick....if he says anything about the judge, the workers in the court room or anything....it's an auto 30 in jail, in NY.....and it was all cause of this post he put up....

it was taken down as soon as it was post, cause i think the judge saw it.....and bam gag order

All his trials will be like that once they are underway, except maybe Florida, but he will be in federal custody as a convicted felon by the time Cannon deals with him. He will be led into the courtroom in shackles and an orange jumpsuit there, and probably in Georgia. I figure Jack will want him properly attired for his TV trial in Georgia and to finish off the documents case in Florida.

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s civil fraud case issued a gag order against Trump after he attacked the judge’s law clerk on social media. Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen joins MSNBC’s Katie Phang to discuss the judge’s decision and Trump’s ongoing trials. Cohen predicts there will be “multiple violations” of Trump’s gag order “before this trial is over.”

FINALLY a judge - NY Judge Arthur Engoron - has GAGGED Trump to STOP his dangerous speech and posts

170,669 views Oct 3, 2023 #TeamJustice
In a long overdue development, a judge has FINALLY placed a limited restriction on Donald Trump's speech and posts. Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over the New York fraud trial Attorney General Letitia James brought against Donald Trump, Don Jr. and Eric, issued the restriction.

Trump posted a picture of Judge Engoron's law clerk taken with Senator Chuck Schumer. Trump mocked the picture, claims the law clerk was "Schumer's girlfriend" and insisting that his fraud case should therefore be dismissed. Shortly thereafter, Judge Engoron announced that he was issuing a "gag order" saying, "personal attacks on my members of my court staff are unacceptable, inappropriate and I will not tolerate them under any circumstances.” The judge also said that "serious sanctions" will follow if Trump violates his order.

Let's hope this opens the floodgates, inspiring other judges to do what the law allows by restricting Trump's thus-far-unabated dangerous, reckless and false speech and posts that endanger witnesses and poison jury pools.

tick tock....tick tock......tick tock.....

BREAKING: Republican 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump loses it, throws a humiliating courtroom hissy-fit at his New York fraud trial after remaining uncharacteristically quiet during the first two days of trial.

It all started when the Judge Arthur Engoron declared that certain formalities can be ignored because there is no jury in Trump’s trial. At this point, courtroom reporters say that Trump “began to grumble and angrily folded his arms while staring at the judge” and then “turned to defense lawyer Alina Habba,” loudly groaned, and exclaimed, “No jury!”

Then, Trump “threw his arms up in disgust and shook his head” as Judge Engoron looked on in disbelief, because, as he noted yesterday and the day before, it was Trump himself who decided to be tried by a judge instead of a jury.

Trump is clearly furious that he lost the case and he’s in serious danger of losing his business and going bankrupt, and now he’s desperately trying to save face with his cult.

Tick-tock, Donnie…

Trump appeals ruling stripping him of New York business certificates
Former President Trump on Wednesday appealed a court ruling that found he committed fraud and ordered his New York business certificates be stripped.

Trump’s trial in the civil case, brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D), is ongoing.

Just prior to the trial, the judge ruled that James had already proven the core of her case: Trump and the other defendants had committed fraud by manipulating property values to gain better loan, insurance and tax terms. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.

New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, a Democrat, ordered that Trump’s New York business certificates be canceled and that the assets be placed in a receivership, raising the possibility that the former president could lose control of some of his famed properties.

Trump had previously indicated they would appeal the ruling, which also denied the former president’s attempt to toss the case entirely and sanctioned his attorneys.

On Wednesday, Trump and the other defendants formally filed the appeal with Appellate Division, First Department in New York.

James brought the sprawling civil case last fall, suing the former president, his adult sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, former Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney and their various business entities.

Engoron’s recent order ruled in favor of James on the first of seven claims in her lawsuit. The trial is being held on the other six and will also weigh James’s request for a $250 million penalty.

The trial began Monday after Trump’s last-minute effort for a delay was denied a few days earlier.

Trump’s attorneys in court have argued that the documents in question were materially accurate and there is no evidence of intent to defraud.

The former president has attended the first three days of the trial, showing his rage at times in statements outside the courtroom and on social media. He has broadly railed against the case as a political witch hunt, at times attacking James and the judge.

The judge imposed a gag order on all parties Tuesday after Trump attacked the judge’s principal clerk in a Truth Social post earlier in the day.
