Guys please can this be a pH problem

I don’t know if it’s a nutrient burn or pH problem and if it’s the pH is it high or low pH ?Kindly help me out

The water alone has 8.1 PH but after I put nutrients it drops to 5.8-5.9

maybe neither? What's the EC or ppm? Those small plants don't drink much, so as the water evaporates the medium might be too hot. When you water those make sure you get a good amount of runoff if you're in coco.

Regardless of the brand, a pH meter will need to be calibrated periodically. Apera uses 4.0 and 7.0 for a 2-point calibration.
Bluelab I think calibrates to 7.0, but check manual, it's been a while.

500ppm is pretty light, but the medium could have salts built up in it.. I’d check the runoff ppm just to see.

That is nitrogen burn. Lower the PPMs. You'll probably do well to just plain 6.3 Ph water at this juncture.

Are you saying it's bright red after you adjust the pH?
