Trump loses in NY court, AGAIN! His civil fraud trial on remaining counts to begin on Monday.

105,115 views Sep 28, 2023 #TeamJustice
Donald Trump seems to be setting a record for the most court losses in history. New York Judge Arthur Engoron found in favor of Attorney General General Leticia James and the people of New York, and against Trump and his adult children, concluding that Trump was involved in massive, long-term, chronic business fraud. However, there are still additional counts that are heading to trial.

In an attempt to derail his civil trial, which is scheduled to begin next week, Trump sued Judge Engoron. Today, as reported by The New York Times, a New York "appeals court rejected Trump's effort to delay" his fraud trial.

Never in the field of politics have so many delusional people been up against so much evidence and such a harsh reality that they are suckers and fools. To hang on to Trump or support him after all this shit says something profound about some people, something uncomfortable and dangerous.

Mimi Rocah: It doesn’t look good for Trump

Donald Trump and his sons Don Jr. and Eric will be among the witnesses in next week's $250 million civil fraud trial against the former president and his companies, new court filings show. Trump and his two oldest sons were named on witness lists filed Thursday by lawyers for the Trumps and New York Attorney General Letitia James' office, which alleges the Trumps have been wildly exaggerating their business assets for years.

"People are stupid and gullible" is not at all profound.
Most really aren't that stupid, it would be statistically impossible, even though normal IQ is an average, it has more to do with the emotions controlling their intelligence and that is what I was getting at. Despite the dumb magats you see on TV outside Trump rallies, most republicans and Trump voters are not that stupid, it has more to do with propaganda exploiting existing character flaws and prejudices.

It also has to do with a sense of investment, and the psychology of sunk cost. Rationally, sunk cost is not a factor in a current decision to continue or stop a certain mode of thought. Viscerally it is very difficult to walk away from a viewpoint in which one is invested and admit being wrong, even when one becomes aware of contradictory evidence.

The churches inter alia depend on this durability of unreasoned sentiment.

Think about it, 3 of your coconspirators are taking a deal and pleading guilty to the crime you are party to and will testify against you at trial, best go for a deal yourself, since they might get one to nail down Donald really good. Trump and his closest cronies are toast in Georgia, and he can't even call them rats or set his base of lunatics on them because of the ball gag in his gob. He is already close to being jailed until trial I figure.

The legal news is coming fast and furious now, all of it bad for Trump, something new every day. Monday his civil tax trial begins in NY to figure out how much they will clean him out for, experts say around $600 million to NY state. The trial is just to set the amount of the penalty, $250 million was just the starting number, the fact he will pay has already been established, this is for how much he will pay. Seems his cut rate lawyer forgot to check off the box on the form for a jury trial, so the judge makes the call, and he doesn't like Donald...

It's like a hole in a dam, a small hole quickly becomes a big one and then the whole thing bursts. They had Trump by the balls any way, but the trial is on TV and having them testify publicly will undo some of the damage they did, they could force them to make PSAs to compensate for the public lies. Just Donald and a few others will be left to try, Rudy might rat because he's broke.
